Marvel Rivals: Every Map, Rated
Let's take a look at each map in Marvel Rivals and decide which one is the best.
In the game, we saw the debut of many iconic Marvel locations with some change. From the galactic empires formed in Wakanda to the complete merging of the two places with Yggsgard, NetEase Games goes with love. With such a wide world of many universes and multiverses, there are endless more, we'd love to see them added.

Avengers tower
The most amazing place ever
With it being such an iconic location in every part of the Marvel Universe and already appearing in Rivals lore, we can almost guarantee that Avengers Tower will make an appearance as a map. With a very easy-to-use design that would be a great fit for any of the modes, it would be a shame not to see it make an appearance.
There should be a giant window so you can look out and see the chaos as Doctor Doom affects the world. Since Heroes has established a stronghold in this world, we should also see a season focused on defending the map in a special mode that could permanently change the state of the map after the event is over, depending on what the players do.
10
X-Mansion
An extremely important place
The X-Men are some of Marvel's most beloved mutants, and they deserve more love in Rivals. The X-Mansion is where mutants and heroes are trained and also serves as the home base for the X-Men. With its future Victorian fusion design, this should be a great map design.
Seeing the Mansion destroyed in ruins, like in the wrong timeline in X-Men: Days of Future Past, would be interesting and bring more continuity between the game and the Cinematic Universe. NetEase Games could even take things further and make their own changes to really make the game stand on its own.
9
Castle Doom
The final boss of the maps
Castle Doom is the fortress where Doctor Doom resides in Doomstadt. In the story, there are two very powerful Doctor Doom tyrants who caused this mess, so maybe we'll see a technological showcase with a dominant force of elements from both modern times and 2099. It could even have other elements from the maps being transported here Timestream. Entanglement.

A little too many adventurers if you ask us.
If Rivals wants to push its story along with the live service updates, NetEase Games could have a Castle Doom siege season where you are tasked with winning a certain number of matches on the map after adding the map. earn rewards and adjust the canon story depending on everyone's performance.

Xander
Out of this world map
Marvel Rivals takes a lot of its locations from Earth in the Marvel Universe and turns them into fun maps. However, Earth is just one planet in a cosmic lore present in many stories. A trip to Xandar in Marvels would be a nice diversion.
Being the capital of the Nova Empire means that Xandar is one of the most developed and famous planets in the Marvel Universe. With how advanced and unique the world is, this would be a great map, especially with the potential of how they could change it with Timestream Entanglement effects.
7
Castle Dracula
An iconic Halloween treat
Dracula's Castle wins in all media as one of the most famous places ever. However, in this messed up world, you can see that the castle is no longer Dracula's, but Blade's, as he is Marvel's favorite vampire slayer. This would work as a unique venue for Rivals that has a dark feel to it.
Putting this map next to the Halloween event and Blade as a playable hero would be perfect and create a fun surprise for any Marvel fans who had no idea this place was even canon. Dracula always finds a way into any universe, especially one as big as Marvel.
6
Sanctum Sanctorum
A strange place to fight
Doctor Strange has to have the most potential for a hero to have a great map around him. With its connection not only to other universes, but also to multiverses, we could see how the experienced team of NetEase Games transformed the wild design. His iconic seat, the Sanctum Sanctorum, is a huge place that could function as a multi-layered map.

On certain walls we could see portals that lead to another dimension, with a small area that could be the effects of Timestream Entanglement on the mansion. That would be an incredible use of game design that would be a sight.

It would be a summit map
The Marvel Universe isn't just limited to Earth locations. With an endless galaxy of planets and alternate dimensions, it's time to start fighting in some bigger space. The Peak is a sword-like spaceship that orbits Earth and acts as SWORD's headquarters.
In space, it crashed to the ground after the attack, so NetEase has a lot of options for what they can do with the design. He could either be sent into space before he crashes and have a sky full of jaw dropping stars, or have the sword crash on the ground with clear damage scattered around.
4
SHIELD Helicarrier
The airship that will carry us to victory
Aside from Avengers Tower, the SHIELD Helicarriers are one of the most memorable locations in the MCU.. They both even have giant Lego sets to enforce their dominance. As the main airship used by SHIELD, Helicarriers are very futuristic, with cramped but still large spaces and lots of exterior bays.
A map that takes place entirely on a battleship would be different from the others. A small detail could be a world around the map with several different locations that it passes through each time the map loads to give it a unique visual gimmick.
3
The dark dimension
A unique dimension creating an incredibly abstract map
The Dark Dimension is a beautiful abstract location that would make a unique map in Rivals. With its strange, twisted design seen in The Doctor Strange movies, this could be a distinctly Marvel map. Many of the current maps and ideas just look like things that are cloned or heavily inspired by other hero shooters.

Who should you team up with in Marvel Rivals?
The way to turn this place upside down is to make it a villain empire. This could even be under the control of a twisted Doctor Strange. On the other hand, they could also transfer the main location here and have it have a dark, damaged feel, because having that dimension as a background would be absolutely stunning.
2
The Old Kingdom of Atlantis
A frozen water paradise with an ocean of potential
An underwater kingdom full of aquatic creatures where we can crown Jeff The Land Shark as our king? Sign up with us! Atlantis in the comics is two separate locations, one called Old Atlantis, ruled by the Invisible Woman, and the other, Atlantis, ruled by Namor.
Considering Namor and his past with Doctor Doom, we can see that this Atlantis is more likely, but with the Fantastic Four's involvement in the affairs of Old Atlantis, it could also be a good fit for Rivals. Either way, an underwater map would be a dream come true, especially with the Greek-inspired architecture found in the kingdom.
1
Nowhere
Does anyone know where the convoy is?
This place may sound unimportant, but it is where the Guardians of the Galaxy have their headquarters. Creating a battlefield on a headless head might sound like a questionable idea, but with how we see Knowhere in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, it would make for an impressive map. With so many Guardians already playable, like the elusive Groot, it's odd that their main headquarters isn't in the game yet.
Marvel Rivals needs to focus more on Marvel exclusive locations, especially with intergalactic worlds, to better establish its own identity visually. Marvel has a stunning art style that would really make these unique locations stand out, but many of the maps currently don't seem inspired by the source material.
