Roronoa Zoro is quite a powerful swordsman and fans know him as one of the strongest members of the Straw Hat crew. His goal is to become the strongest swordsman in the world by defeating Dracula Mihawk, and although it is a difficult task, Zoro is not far from Mihawk's level at this point. Over the years, Zoro has reached unprecedented levels of strength and defeated countless enemies.

Right now, One piece is in the Final Saga, and that means Zoro is close to his goal. Along the way, he has managed to overcome a lot of powerful characters that he has either come across, those who compete with him in swordsmanship, or those who hold a similar position to him.

Vista

The commander of the fifth division of the Whitebeard Pirates, Flower Sword Vista, is a powerful swordsman that fans haven't seen much of in One Piece yet. Fans know that he was the strongest swordsman of the Whitebeard Pirates. Vista was also one of their strongest fighters and one who was even able to hold her own against Dracula Mihawk during the Paramount War arc.

Zoro should be strong enough to compete with him in battle at this point, and with abilities like the Conqueror's Haki Infusion unlocked, he should be able to take down Flower Sword Vista in battle. Right now, it's a fair assumption to say that Zoro has already surpassed him.

Charlotte Katakuri

• Affiliation: Big Mom Pirates

• Reward: 1.057 billion berries

• Devil Fruit: Mochi Mochi no Mi

• Haki: Armor Color, Observation Color, High King Color

Charlotte Katakuri is the strongest of the three sweet commanders of the Big Mom Pirates, and of course she's a man who holds a similar position to Zoro in the Straw Hat Pirates. Katakuri has a bounty of 1.057 billion berries on his head. Zoro, meanwhile, has earned a bounty of 1.111 billion himself.

Katakuri is in the same league as Zoro and fighting against him would be very difficult for the Straw Swordsman. However, just as he was able to overcome King, he would also be able to overcome Katakuri in a fight. This fight will definitely be more difficult for Zoro, considering that landing punches on Katakuri is very difficult for him, and at the same time, Zoro has a limited amount of time when it comes to using his King of Hell Three Sword Style. But a few good hits should be enough to take down Katakuri.

Shiryu

The second captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, fans know that Shiryu is quite a strong personality. Once the head jailer of Impel Down, he is now one of Blackbeard's most powerful henchmen. In fact, Oda has made it clear that he is the number two of the Blackbeard Pirate crew, making him Zoro's enemy.

Shiryu wields the power of Suke Suke no Mi, making him an invisible swordsman, and that's certainly one of the hardest things for anyone to deal with in a fight. At the same time, he owns his bloodthirsty sword, called Raiu, with which he can cut down anyone who gets in his way. Right now, Shiryu doesn't look that impressive compared to Zoro. Maybe he has incredible swordsmanship that we haven't seen before. However, right now Zoro had managed to get as far as Shiryu.

Donquixote Doflamingo

Doflamingo is quite a strong individual with whom the Straw Hat Pirates traded blows during the Dressrosa arc. One piece. Back then it was Luffy who fought against him and defeated him. However, his abilities are somewhat similar to Zoro's.

Doflamingo can cut things with his strings and fans know that his abilities are quite dangerous. Right now, Zoro has reached a level where he can fight Doflamingo and easily overpower him in a fight, that goes without saying. Doflamingo would have been a pretty good match for Zoro at one point, but now Zoro is way above his level and as a result, he would probably end up defeating him with a single punch.

Rob Lucci

• Haki: Armor Color, Observation Color

Rob Lucci is one of the strongest individuals Zoro has ever traded blows with. In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Lucci is one of Zoro's toughest opponents ever. In the Egghead arc, Lucci showed his Awakened form and the power of that form was such that he was able to hold his own against Zoro despite the latter using Conqueror's and Armament Haki to the max. In the end, the fight was never settled, but Zoro dealt him a fatal blow across the chest before Jinbe blew him away. By the time of the Elbaf arc, Zoro had surpassed Lucci, but the battle between them would still be close.

Marco Phoenix

• Devil Fruit: Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix

• Haki: Armor Color, Observation Color

Marco is one of the strongest characters One pieceknown as the former commander of the first division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He wields the power of the Phoenix Fruit, with which he controls the blue flames of resurrection. He can heal any wounds and is also incredibly powerful when it comes to using Haki.

While Marco is a monstrously strong fighter, Zoro wields the High King Color and can sheathe his swords in it. Even though Marco is much stronger than the king, Zoro is a man who wants to become the strongest swordsman. To that end, his ambition and ability to deal lethal damage worthy of scarring even Kaida should be enough to deal damage to Marco. The only downside Zoro has is his lack of stamina when using King of Hell. If Zoro can get around this weakness and gain full control of the King of Hell: Three Sword Style, he can defeat Marco for good.
