6 Most Underrated Yonk Commanders

Every Yonko in One piece they have a powerful set of commanders under them who continue to fight on their behalf while making a great name for themselves. Oda has introduced quite a few powerful pirates in his series over the years, and while they're all terrifying in their own way, some of them may be underrated by fans.

This is often because some others take all the attention, or these individuals never get the opportunity to reveal their true abilities. For one reason or another, there are a lot of underrated Yonk commanders in the world One piece which Oda introduced in his story.

Diamond Jozu

• Pirate Crew: Whitebeard Pirates

Diamond Jozu is the former commander of the third division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was easily one of the strongest individuals in the pirate crew and was seen fighting Kuzan and holding his ground in the Marineford arc. Jozu is one of the few characters in the story who can actually hurt Kuzan. In fact, he only lost the battle because he was distracted for a split second, which ultimately decided the entire fight.

Still, Jozu was incredibly powerful. He has the power of Kira Kira no Mi, which is a Paramecia-type ability, and could use this devil fruit to turn his body into a diamond. This combined with his agility made him extremely deadly. He caused all kinds of trouble for Kuzan with his abilities. Despite his massive size and strength, his speed was remarkable. He is an individual whose reward would surely exceed a billion berries, and it goes without saying that he was also underestimated.

Charlotte Cracker

• Pirate Crew: Big Mom Pirates

Charlotte Cracker is one of the three sweet captains of the Big Mom Pirates. With a bounty of 860 million berries on his head, Cracker is one of the most wanted individuals in One piece world. When Cracker was introduced, Oda made sure to point out that he was on an even higher level than Doflamingo. His Haki was much better and his performance against Luffy in his Gear 4 was absolutely amazing. Cracker has access to the Bisu Bisu no Mi, which allows him to make crackers and manipulate them at will by clapping his hands. With his strength, Cracker was able to create powerful Biscuit Soldiers that could rival even Gear 4 Luffy in strength and toughness.

Cracker was underrated as he was not given a suitable platform to showcase his skills. The vast majority of his fight was off projection. However, it should be noted that in Gear 4, he fought Luffy several times during the 11th hour and each time he forced him out of it. If it wasn't for Nami softening his cookies, Luffy would have lost to him for sure despite having a Gear 4 up his sleeve.

Jack the Drought

Jack the Drought was one of Kaid's Three All Stars and fans know him to be quite the menacing individual. When Jack was first introduced, he was highly regarded by many due to the billion berry bounty on his head. He also held powerful Haki plus the power of Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth. However, over the years, the hype died down as Jack did not get a prominent role in the arc.

In fact, Jack lost every battle he fought and was officially defeated in Wano by none other than Inuarashi. Still, he was a monstrously powerful individual who possessed tremendous stamina and, above all, magnificent strength. Being able to single-handedly ravage the land just goes to show what he could truly accomplish on the battlefield.

Charlotte Smoothie

• Pirate Crew: Big Mom Pirates

Another member of the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Smoothie is one of the most underrated characters One piece. This is largely due to Smoothie never having any significant role in the story. When she was introduced in the Whole Cake Island Arc, Oda didn't have a specific role cut out for her that would see her shine.

In fact, Smoothie also made it to Wano; however, again she didn't play any significant role in the story and is therefore often underrated by fans. Still, Smoothie earned a reward of 932 million berries, and her devil fruit, called Shibo Shibo no Mi, along with her strong use of Haki, is enough to justify that reward. Smoothie has to be one of the scariest individuals in the series and hopefully fans will see her do some impressive things in the future.

Vista Flower Sword

• Pirate Crew: Whitebeard Pirates

The commander of the fifth division of the Whitebeard Pirates, Flower Sword Vista, is a personality that can be considered very underrated. Among the Whitebeard Pirates, strength is not determined by the division commander's number. Just because Vista is the commander of the 5th Division doesn't make him the fifth strongest individual in the pirate crew. In fact, Vista might just be one of the most powerful members under Whitebeard.

In the Paramount War, he was able to fight on an equal footing with Mihawk, which is extremely impressive. Mihawk himself praised Vista and the fact that their battle was a stalemate only shows his skills. Vista was even able to launch powerful attacks against the likes of Akainu. However, he was unable to do permanent damage. Still, he is easily one of the most skilled individuals in the crew and one of the most skilled swordsmen in the world One piece.

Portgas D. Ace

• Pirate Crew: Whitebeard Pirates

The commander of the second division of the Whitebeard Pirates and former captain of the Spade Pirates, Portgas D. Ace is easily one of the most underrated characters in One Piece. Ace was a monstrously powerful individual. In fact, Ace's strength was supported by many, including Yonko, the red-haired Shanks, who called him very strong himself. Ace possessed one of the most powerful Devil Fruits in One Piece, called the Mera Mera no Mi, which allowed him to transform into fire, manipulate it, and produce it at will. In fact, many fans don't know that Ace was a powerful user of both Armament and Observation Haki, and even had Conqueror's Haki up his sleeve.

His potential was incredible, so Sengoku considered him the leader of the next generation. He had enough power to be considered an individual on the level of powerful Yonka commanders. Recently, Ace was seen fighting evenly against Yamato in Wano despite the latter being a powerful user of Supreme King Haki and the Mythical Zoan Fruit. Unfortunately, Ace ended up sacrificing his life for Luffy, and that's one of the many reasons why he's criminally underrated.
