Pain was the leader of the Akatsuki and is one of the best villains in the entire series. He was first introduced as a mysterious man, but was later revealed to be a capable individual who was able to defeat a powerful Jinchuriki. He even managed to hold onto Kurama for quite some time during their battle, even though he was already exhausted.

Nicknamed the “Tailless Beast”, Kisame was a threat that even Itachi Uchiha respected. It was a monstrous figure that faced the tailed beast head on and used its wits to gain the upper hand in this fight. Kisame's chakra helped him last a very long time in the fight and he eventually prevailed and his opponent was no joke. It was Killer B himself who was the perfect Jinchuriki and Kisame was able to get the upper hand in him.

During Naruto's birth, Obito appeared and posed as Madara Uchiha. He took Kushina with him to release the Nine-Tails into the Hidden Leaf Village. Obito had achieved his goal and also had complete control over the beast. His power was such that it surprised even Minato at that moment and he was convinced that the man in front of him was Madara.
