Esquie has become a favorite fan of Clair Obscur, with a high demand for plushie leading to a development team who confirmed they would like to create it. On the heels of Esquia, however, there are hot figures such as Nocto and Monoco, who also gained high praise.
It is the second one where things become interesting, with a member of the Monoco party seemingly named after a special member of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Development Team.
Monoco is named after an office dog and happiness Sandfall Interactive
A quick view of the Sandfall Interactive team shows one employee who is not like the others – Monoco, a very good dog that was marked as a team manager. Obviously, with their unique name and spelling, the expedition 33 is a member of Monoco, or at least his name.
While the role of Monoco (The Dog) in Sandfall is unclear, besides everyone happy, they have two favorite games: eat wood and chase brooms.
If you remember, Eating Wood was 2018 of the 2018 gaming candidate, so it's a really solid choice. However, Chassing Broomsticks is a more interesting choice. It was the title Xbox Live Arcade from 2007, which launched at a mixed reception, but since then has continued to get a cult. The dog has a taste.
Monoco is not the only name that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was smart because the new Reddit post shared some puns used by the Sandfall Interactive team.
Petank, Clair Obscur version of Persona's Treasure Hand Enemies, is named after the French game Pétanque, in which players throw small metal balls, just like Petank attacks. Sakapate comes from the phrase “SAC à patate”, which is used when adults wear something such as children, over the shoulder, and esquia is probably named after the French judge and philosopher Monsquieu, because you can mount esquia in the game.
