One month has officially passed since the release of the shooter from Embark Studios ARC Raidersand still holds its position as one of Steam's most popular titles. According to SteamDB, ARC Raiders is still one of the best-selling titles on Steam, the most popular titles and the most played games in more than 30 days since its launch.
When ARC Raiders was released on October 30, 2025, it was certainly anticipated, but probably few expected it to explode the way it did. In just over a week after its launch, it peaked at more active players than Battlefield 6and he wasn't even phased by the arrival Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 soon after. It's turning out to be something of a phenomenon, especially considering how few (albeit increasingly fewer) extraction shooters have historically been.
ARC Raiders Steam performance in the first month
While the number of players on Steam is not everything in a cross-platform game ARC Raidersthey still offer insight into the extent of its popularity. A closer look at its peaks during the first month helps show how this interest has increased and settled over time.

Starting on November 2nd, just days after the release, ARC Raiders saw its first peak of 354,836 players on Steam alone, with the following Sunday seeing a nearly 30% increase in that number to 460,858. November 16, 2025 was our biggest day ARC Raiders still, it peaked at an all-time high of 481,966, and while it only peaked at 449,369 the following Sunday, that's down less than 7% and still nearly 27% higher than its first peak.
Now, a month since launch, ARC Raiders is still number 3 in the best selling products on Steam, although technically it could count as number 2, right behind Counter-Strike 2with the best seller being the Steam Deck. It also has a consistently higher daily player count than Battlefield 6reaching a daily average of about 367,000 players vs Battlefield 6's daily average of around 220,000 players. And considering why people still play ARC Raidersas well as what's yet to come in the game, those numbers could continue to climb beyond the peaks they've already reached.
Why people still play ARC Raiders
The reason the extraction shooter Embark still holds players' attention a month after launch is because its core loop has proven to be satisfying, even after several iterations. ARC RaidersPhysical responses, palpable atmosphere, iconic sound design, solo matchmaking, and accessibility unusual for the genre contributed to its long-term popularity.
Due to the structure of live services, there is also a lot of work in the game, such as completing tasks or preparing ARC Raiders' Clearing the December 21st Expedition, participating in Live Events, placing in Trials, and completing the Raider Deck for free cosmetics and Raider Tokens to spend in the store. And while some players have already completed most or all of these things, ARC Raiders there is more to come, which is just around the corner.
ARC Raiders still has more to come
ARC Raiders is still far from leaving its mark on Steam's top charts, so it's possible that it will retain its position among the most notable titles on the platform. Its Cold Snap update is coming very soon, and it's supposed to add a lot of new content to the game:

Needless to say, players should have plenty of new reasons to come back soon.
