Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is now available at Xbox Game Passwhich was launched on three of its levels. It is the 211th title added to the service this year and the 15th nominee from The Game Awards 2025 to join Xbox Game Pass.
The latest title from Life is strange developer Don't Nod, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is an episodic narrative adventure that is a combination of a coming-of-age story and a thriller set in two timelines: 1995 and 2022. Its first part – or “tape”, to use gaming jargon – was released in mid-February 2025 and debuted to mostly favorable reviews, as underlined by 75Crita Open. Tape 2 was released two months later to a somewhat more reserved critical reception, achieving an average score of 71 on OpenCritic. Reviewers praised Lost Records: Bloom and Rage for engaging writing full of memorable characters and an intoxicating atmosphere, but also noted that his choices lacked impact and that the 1995 timeline was more engaging than the current storyline.

The arrival of Xbox Game Pass may slow down this month
Three more titles are currently confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in December 2025: Routine, Guardian of the Domeand A game about digging a hole. The full Wave 1 lineup for this month is expected to be officially finalized later this week, possibly as early as today, December 2nd. However, based on previous years, the overall pace of additions is expected to slow for the rest of the month – especially compared to November, when 20 new titles were added to the service.

Past years also suggest that Microsoft may temporarily change its typical Xbox Game Pass announcement cadence by consolidating all December 2025 titles into a single reveal rather than doing Wave 1 and 2 separately. Should that happen, the company will most likely return to its usual two-wave announcement schedule in January 2026.
