PlayStation users can currently pick up Red Dead Redemption package with 60% discount. The promotional offer, which runs until mid-December 2025, brings a bundle containing some of the highest-rated PlayStation games ever made to the lowest price ever on the PS Store.
Originally launched in 2010, Red Dead Redemption returned in August 2023 and was released digitally for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Coinciding with this debut, Rockstar released a franchise pack combining the PS4 version of the game with Red Dead Redemption 2. The two-pack was priced at $99.99, $10 less than when each title was purchased individually, and offers a compelling entry point to the series for players new to both games.
The RDR + RDR2 bundle gets its first ever 60% discount on the PS Store
The Red Dead Redemption the bundle received a 60% discount on the PlayStation Store in early December 2025, dropping it to $39.99. Offer valid until December 15th at 11:59 PM PT. While the two-pack has seen a temporary discount more than a dozen times since August 2023, the ongoing promotion marks the lowest price ever on Sony's digital store and a $5 improvement over the previous best price. None of the included titles are currently on sale separately through the PS Store. However, even by making the steepest individual discounts on Red Dead Redemption games to date, the current bundle price is the sum of the lowest prices of the included titles.

The RDR1 PS4/5 version is complete in content but has a catch
In terms of what's actually on offer here, the first entry in the series to be included in the bundle is complete in terms of content, at least from a single-player perspective. Buyers get both the base game and Red Dead Redemptionpopular zombie extension An undead nightmarewhile the bundle also includes selected bonuses from the GOTY edition of the title, which represent some extra outfits and minor side content. There's a catch though: nothing multiplayer related is included because the PS4/5 version Red Dead Redemption it lacks the online component of the PS3 original, which was conceptually similar to Free Mode v GTA 4 onlinejust without character customization.
The two-pack version of RDR2 isn't complete, but that doesn't really matter
On the contrary version Red Dead Redemption 2 part of the two-pack is not complete in terms of content. However, the differences between the base game and its higher editions are relatively small compared to its predecessor. Story Mode gets one bank robbery mission, while the rest of the extras consist of one more horse, saddle, talisman, clothes, and a few weapons, plus some gameplay upgrades and discounts. In other words, nothing that adds substantial new content in the way An undead nightmare does for the original Red Dead Redemption.
Ongoing sale at Red Dead Redemption the package is available globally. While Xbox and PC received the same two-pack, only the PlayStation version of the bundle is currently on sale. Based on Rockstar's recent results and typical promotional patterns, it's unlikely that the bundle will drop below that price before mid-2026. However, the current 60% discount may return once or twice before then.
One thing that makes this two-pack a little less attractive to a subset of PlayStation users is Red Dead RedemptionThe recent launch on PS Plus which happened on December 2nd. Since then, PS Plus Extra and Premium members can play the iconic Rockstar game at no additional cost within their subscription.
