Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came out three years ago in 2023, but Respawn may already be preparing a sequel.
“I thought about it earlier when I was trying to come up with a game that hadn't been announced yet that could make the list,” said Kinda Funny co-founder Tim Getty. “I think the sequel to Jedi: Survivor has a solid chance of coming out this year.”

While admitting it's not a “slam dunk,” Getty revealed he's “heard some things” and judging by the show's transcripts, it wouldn't be too far-fetched.
Survivor launched just four years after Fallen Order, with the impact of COVID-19 on development. However, series director Stig Asmussen left Respawn two years ago, despite the team planning a trilogy, and layoffs last year saw “edits across Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi.”
Getty speculates that Star Wars Jedi 3 will be announced in a few months
As for when we can expect an announcement, Getty speculated that it will be revealed before Summer Game Fest – possibly in May – and released in September.
Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan confirmed in 2023 that development had begun on Star Wars Jedi 3, which EA Entertainment and Technology President Laura Miele described as the “final chapter” of the series, but we haven't heard much about the project since then.
We may learn more about her sooner than we thought, but in the meantime, we can look forward to Galactic Racer later this year, a Star Wars racing game led by Burnout veteran and Need for Speed talent, even with the return of Anakin Skywalker's old rival Sebulb in pod-racing.
