Trailer from Pokemon TCG reveals four brand new Mega Pokémon coming in Ascended Heroes. Ascended Heroes will officially introduce Mega Attack Rare cards to the TCG and introduce new cards for Mega Hawlucha, Mega Eelektross, Mega Dragonite, and Mega Froslas. The trailer shows each Pokemon depicted with the Japanese name of their signature attacks, and also reveals a new rarity symbol for Mega Attack Rares with one pink and one green star. Pokemon has not released any official details on how difficult it will be to pull the new Mega Attack Rare cards, which are expected to be highly sought after.
The Mega Attack Rare reveal gives players a look at the abilities and attacks of the new cards. Mega Hawlucha's Tenacious Body ability will make him surprisingly durable in matches, and he'll be able to avoid elimination by winning a coin flip. With its attacks, Mega Eelektross combines bench damage and high hits into one target, making it effective at blasting ready Pokémon.
