Hashirama brought peace to the warring states
Before the creation of the hidden villages, the shinobi world was in complete chaos during Hashirama's time. Everyone fought for their clan, whether they were children, teenagers, or adults, without exception, resulting in unnecessary mass deaths that fueled the endless cycle of hatred.
Seeing this, Hashirama couldn't help but imagine a world where children no longer had to fight. He never stopped believing in this lifelong dream, so much so that he brought peace to warring states by favoring unity over hatred and cooperation over war.

Without Hashirama, the Leaf Village, along with the other hidden villages in the shinobi world, would not exist. The rest of the Hokages after him would also be erased from history. Credit goes to Hashirama for bringing Konoha to life, although Madara Uchiha also played a key supporting role.
As the first Hokage, Hashirama gave the children of the Leaf a chance to learn what learning and playing were all about. Moreover, he kept the Uchiha clan at bay and prevented old feuds from tearing the village apart. Even after Madara betrayed him again, Hashirama never wavered in protecting the hard-fought peace the village enjoyed during his time.

The tailed beasts bowed to Hashirama
Hashirama is one of the few characters Naruto who can completely control the tailed beasts by himself. He doesn't need the help of support ninjas to capture these powerful Tailed Beasts, as his mastery of Wood Release and unmatched chakra reserves are enough to subdue even the strongest of them with ease.

Beating Madara over and over again
Before Naruto and Sasuke were Hashirama and Madara. They had the biggest rivalry, Madara on the losing side and Hashirama on the winning side. Since childhood, Hashirama and Madara have engaged in various competitions where Hashirama's skill, intelligence, and strategy have allowed him to best Madara time and time again.
Fast forward to the future, Hashirama never lost a single fight to Madara while he was still alive. Every attempt Madara made to gain supremacy failed, even after possessing the Nine Tails and the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. All his efforts were for naught, which speaks volumes for Hashirama's godlike abilities.
Hashirama wouldn't have earned the moniker “God of Shinobi” if he didn't have the power to back up his legendary reputation. He was so powerful that the actual cause of his death remains a mystery. If he had been killed on the battlefield, his killer would have been immortalized in shinobi history, yet there is no record of such an act.
He gave the will of the fire
Naruto Uzumaki and the rest of the shinobi in Konoha are aligned with the Will of Fire, especially during the Fourth Great Ninja War, which was championed by Hashirama Senju. Hashirama remained a humble Shinobi God
It's hard to resist a humble and down-to-earth Hokage like Hashirama, who despite his immense power remained humble and friendly. At first glance, he appears to be a cold, stern ninja with no warmth, but beneath his stern exterior, he is kind-hearted and dedicated to protecting everyone in Konoha.
It's funny how someone like him also loves gambling and reveals an unexpected side of his personality. It's also easy for him to get depressed, so it's fun to see him change moods from feeling confident to feeling anxious throughout the series.
Who would have thought that someone of Hashirama's caliber had a quirky side to him? He literally has the power to change the course of the world in his prime, but he never lets it get to his head or consume him. Instead, he puts his power to good use, though the next generation of corrupt ninjas misused his DNA just to taste his overwhelming power.
Hashirama did not seek the position of Hokage
Unlike Naruto Uzumaki, whose lifelong dream was to become Hokage, Hashirama originally did not want the post. Instead, he wanted to pass the position to Madara, believing that he was more suitable to lead the village.
Hashirama truly thought that Madara's leadership would benefit Konoha the most. He was even willing to carve Madara's face on the Hokage Rock as soon as possible to perpetuate his friend's legacy.
However, as fans know, Hashirama eventually took the role of Hokage after the people voted for him. It was meant to be his way of offering Madara trust and respect, in hopes that it would strengthen the bond between the Uchiha and the Senju clan.
