While Will Serfort was born without magic in the world Wistoria: Wand and Swordhe eventually learns a unique spell that is exclusive to him: Wis. It is clear that Wis is not elemental magic, but there are theories that it is actually the elusive and mysterious fifth element that Magia Vander has been searching for all along.

With Wis, Will Serfort can use any type of anti-magic sword to absorb magic and turn it into power, just as he used Julio's ice magic against multiple Zoctonia in the First Bloom. With Wis activated, he becomes an effective mage, making him more powerful than anyone else in the series.

Despite this incredible power, Will Serfort still doesn't know how to imbue his sword with magic without relying on another mage's magic. This becomes a major problem for Will, but also an opportunity for Kreutz to take advantage of, especially after challenging him to use even a small amount of magic to defeat Wors Oozes in the upcoming Second Bloom event. With Julia's help, Will Serfort undergoes intensive training in hopes of finding an alternative way to use Wis' magic himself.
