Season of Champions: Could Wizards of the Coast be returning to the iconic D&D setting?
Wizards of the Coast has yet to reveal the book coming in Season of Champions, which is expected later in the year. However, there is some content from another Dungeons and Dragons Revealed Arcana that wouldn't fit in confirmed books. Several iconic subclasses from the past in this playtest, such as Path of the Spiritual Guardian Barbarian, Cavalier Fighter, and Oathbreaker Paladin, would fit well with the Season of Champions theme and could appear in this unnamed book.
That said, given how secretive Wizards of the Coast is about it, this book could be something more specific and significant. Between the Psion class and the apocalyptic Unearthed Arcana subclasses, evidence points to a potential return to D&DThe iconic and controversial Dark Sun setting could be in the works. It's possible that this unannounced project could be related to these elements, but fans will have to wait until the end of this year to find out.
