South of Midnight is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 31, 2026

PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 owners will soon be able to experience everything South of midnight has to offer, with the game officially heading to the new platforms on March 31st. South of midnightThe PS5 and Switch 2 release date has been announced via a new trailer that introduces potential players to the game's world, characters and overarching story, and showcases plenty of gameplay footage. Titled “Critical Acclaim”, the trailer also includes several quotes from critics who are praising South of midnight.

For those unaware, South of midnight is a third-person action-adventure game in which players take on the role of Hazel Flood. As Hazel, players set out to rescue their mother from all manner of mythical creatures, all of which are inspired by American Deep South folklore, such as Two-Toed Tom and Huggin' Molly. Along the way to confront these creatures, players will fight their way through open environments, engage in melee combat with Haints from a third-person perspective, and use Weaver's array of magical abilities to rid the upstart world of evil spirits.

South of midnight will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in the form of a special 'Weaver's Edition'. This new version South of midnight will include the base game and the following pieces of additional content:
