Stormy waves Version 3.2 is officially released on all available platforms and brings a new main story quest, events and many game optimizations. Similar to other gacha titles, Kuro Games' Stormy waves aims to launch new characters and refreshing challenges every few weeks with each update. The latest patch is no exception as fans can enjoy a lot of content with lots of limited events and free-to-play Astrites.
Since its release in May 2024 Stormy waves has arguably become one of the most popular gacha titles in recent years, even winning Player's Voice at The Game Awards 2025. In December 2025 Stormy waves launched update 3.0, which introduces fans to the nation of Lahai-Roi and adds a motorbike exploration mechanic. Wuthering Waves version 3.2 adds new main quests and quality of life improvements
Stormy waves recently released its 3.2 patch titled “Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows”. The update includes new main story content such as Chapter III: Act IV and a new Segue: Afterstory quest. Also debuting is Sigrika's 5-star Resonator, an Aero unit with gloves. Sigrika is a student at Startorch Academy who also plays a key role in the latest main quest alongside Rover. Players can currently pull for her or Qiuyuan Stormy waves' limited banners. Version 3.2 Phase 2 will also relaunch Lynae, Zani, and Phoebe. To stock up on resources, fans can log into the game for seven days and get up to 10 free downloads. Players can also claim up to 600 Astrite compensation through in-game mail until the end of 3.2.
The patch also brings some important quality of life improvements and game optimization. To get started, players can now directly claim rewards from the Resonator Trials they completed in earlier updates. The Expedition Motorbike has also been optimized and players will no longer get stuck in certain terrain while exploring. Additionally, emptying Echo storage has been made easier for players with Smart Discard, allowing fans to get rid of Echoes that don't fit their filters. Stormy waves 3.2 also adds the ability to share and import other players' Echo Management plan configurations. Finally, the patch introduces a new “High Quality” option for some higher performance mobile devices. Meanwhile, PC gamers can now customize the rendering distance of their graphics based on their personal preferences. This feature comes after some Stormy waves fans criticized version 3.1 for the framerate drop and demanded that the graphics be optimized.
In the past, Kuro Games has been praised by players for its commitment to responding quickly to player feedback. Given that, many mobile gamers might appreciate the new HD option Stormy waves is known for its cutting-edge visuals. Several events will be triggered during the patch, including rhythm and block minigames. The patch also includes limited collaboration with Persona 5 Royalwith bike skins featuring Queen and Violet from the ATLUS title.
