PS5 will release 8 big games in March 2026

PlayStation 5 gamers can look forward to at least eight new big games in April 2026. PlayStation 5 is having a busy 2026 so far, mainly thanks to third-party games. At the end of February, the highest-rated new PS5 game of 2026 was released in the form so far Resident Evil Requiemand there have also been many other third-party multi-platform releases in the last few months.

For first-party PlayStation games, MLB The Show 26 recently released for the PS5, though it earned a more mixed reception compared to previous games in the franchise. Looking ahead, there are some huge first-party PS5 games set to launch in the near future, with one really big one set for April 2026.

PlayStation 5 players jumped at the chance to pre-order Xbox Starfield following its recent announcement for the platform.

Saros is likely to be a major new PS5 game coming in April 2026 and will launch exclusively for Sony's latest console on April 30. Saros is another game from Housemarque, the studio behind the critically acclaimed roguelike game Return. Saros it looks like evolution ReturnA concept with flashy, hell-style bullet combat mixed with a breathtaking sci-fi world and captivating narrative. Five days later, on April 7th, PS5 players will get the chance to play Star field. Developed by Bethesda, Star field is a massive open-world sci-fi game that effectively borrows gameplay mechanics from titles like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls and places them in space. Star fieldThe PS5 launch will coincide with a big new update called Free Lanes, which will revamp the game by adding big new features, with a paid expansion called Terran Armada coming out on the same day. Capcom has moved PragmaticsThe April 17th release date means fans won't have to wait that long to find out if the company's new sci-fi shooter lives up to expectations.

On April 22nd, players can check out the PS5 Tides of Tomorrowan interesting new game from THQ Nordic. Tides of Tomorrow it's about exploring an ocean planet with the ability to see how other players interact with the world. What other players are doing in their own games Tides of Tomorrow it affects other players' games, affects NPC reactions, and potentially makes everyone else's job harder or easier. It's a fascinating idea and it will be interesting to see if it can stick the landing.
