Marvel Rivals is releasing a new update for April 2026

NetEase continues to evolve Marvel Rivals On April 9, 2026, it will release a brand new update for the game that adds new cosmetic content, applies more fixes, and gives Deadpool fans a new opportunity to get some loot. The free-to-play hero shooter continues to receive updates from developer NetEase, keeping things fresh while adding new content for fans to dive into. latest Marvel Rivals the update also adds interesting cosmetics to a few characters.

Currently, Marvel Rivals is deep into Season 7, which takes players back to a unique version of New York City where Mayor Fisk has declared martial law and arrested all vigilantes after a future version of the Alchemax Corporation suddenly appeared. For Season 7, Tiger Division Director Ami “White Fox” Han joins the character roster as a strategist who is able to heal and buff allies or damage and enchant enemies. Her ultimate form turns her into a nine-tailed fox for a limited time, where her abilities are further enhanced. As Marvel Rivals is slowly approaching its midpoint and the arrival of Black Cat to the playable roster, NetEase continues to improve the game with minor updates.

Marvel Rivals gets an Avengers-themed plan leading up to Doomsday

Marvel Rivals just released an Avengers-themed road map that starts in April and runs until the release of Doomsday in December.

In fact, he's also kicking off a new limited-time event called Deadpool – Hospitality 101 on April 10. Similar events to Van Dyne's Grand Opening with Daring Daifuku's outfit for Psylocke during Marvel RivalIn celebration of the 1st anniversary, players will be able to try their luck at popping balloons and earning rewards. The ultimate reward will be the Maidpool outfit, which originally debuted in Deadpool (2008) #20 and features new visuals and sound effects for the game.

In addition, Jeff the Land Shark follows with his own Maid Outfit, also with a unique visual and sound effect. Ironfist also gets a premium outfit called Lin Shao: The Knockout, which gives him a kickboxing style look and feel. Unlike Maidpool, these outfits are a premium purchase from the in-game store. Other shop cosmetics include Poppin' Peach and Yapping Yolk chroma for Maidpool's outfit, and a Shark Attack emote pack with Marvel RivalIt's about Deadpool and Jeff.

The patch also brings new optimizations and fixes for the game, with White Fox taking center stage. Specifically, the color of Kumi's White Fox form now matches the base colors of her Secret Agent and Rosy Recon costumes. In addition, NetEase has added new animations for White Fox and Cloak, although details of what they are have not been provided.

Several bugs were also fixed in this update, including one for the Hulk that could prevent the hero from regenerating his health if he entered the Allies spawn room at the exact moment the player transformed from Bruce Banner to the Hulk. It's an incredibly specific moment, but one that can lead players to a major problem. Another bug fix focused on Jeff Land Shark and his Rodeo emote. Strangely, the emote could trigger randomly when entering a shared area in the Warrior Falls Spawn Room, which could result in Jeff pulling enemies back into the room and dealing massive damage. When you are in the room, the emotions themselves have been disabled.

Hulk's Healing Hiccup: Fixed an issue where the Hulk might not be able to regenerate health if he entered an ally's Spawn Room right at the moment of transformation. Even the Green Goliath needs a good rest to heal those gamma-irradiated wounds. Hulk has recovered well!
Jeff's Rodeo Rampage: Addresses a wild bug where Jeff Rodeo's emotes could trigger unexpectedly in the Warrior Falls Spawn Room shared area. This allowed Chaos Jeff to drag enemies back into his Spawn Room for massive damage. Sorry Jeff, the Avengers say no sharknapping! This emote is now banned in this zone.
