Tides of Tomorrow Review Summary

The review for Tides of Tomorrow, an asynchronous multiplayer first-person adventure game, is now officially out.

All Ozen Locations in Tides of Tomorrow

There are several ways to find this temporary cure, but as rare as Ozen is, you have the option of sharing it with future Tidewalkers and dying NPCs, or hoarding it all for yourself. Keep in mind that any decisions you make can affect the Tidewalkers who may choose to follow your Story Seed, so let's look at all the ways to get Ozen in Tides of Tomorrow.

Story characters and NPCs

Obin's daughter Kass is one of the characters in the game who will give the Tidewalkers some Ozen to distribute or keep for themselves. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

The first way you can get Ozen is from NPCs during the main story quest lineabove all you can get some of the No at the beginning of the game. Cass is another NPC who gives some Ozen during the main base quest that you have to decide whether to keep for yourself or give to the needy.

Merchants

Most places throughout Elryd have at least one Ozen shop. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Throughout this ocean planet, players will encounter trading shops where they can purchase Ozen using scraps. As you explore Elynda through the story, you can use some of the pieces you've collected trade with merchants for an Ozen tank.

Gift box

There's a chance that a past Tidewalker left an Ozen behind in one of the many donation boxes you can discover in the game. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Tides of TomorrowThe Story Link online feature allows other players to follow in your footsteps and create their own path for others to follow. Along the way, you'll come across a unique type of chest called Donation Boxes, which suggest you leave something behind for future Tidewalkers, and you could pick up an Ozen tank from a donation box.

Ocean Actions

Participating in an Ocean Event could be extremely rewarding after its completion. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Ocean Events are unique experiences encountered at certain intervals in the game and usually allow players to participate in more trivial activities that can be beneficial. This usually involves exchanging dialogs with NPCs that you can give or exchange items for Ozen, which can be very useful later in the game.

Survey

Throughout the story chapters, you can find hidden locations where NPCs or past Tidewalkers may have stored Ozen tanks. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

There are other ways you can get Ozen, but some are more hidden than the above methods. Although it can be time consuming, search lockers, trash cans, vents, and hiding places could reward you with Ozen or other valuable items, so it helps to search every nook and cranny.

How to use Ozen in Tides of Tomorrow

Your health (HP) bar is visible on the HUD screen, but will periodically decrease due to Plasthemia. This only happens before the start of the next story chapter when you choose your next target, from which two levels of HP will be consumed by a toxic plastic disease and this is the best time to use Ozen.

Additionally, if your health bar is extremely low, it would be wise to use some Ozen before proceeding to the next objectives or risk death. In addition to using Ozen on yourself, you can give Ozen to dying NPC Reclaimerwhich can contribute to your traits or you can leave one Ozen tank in the donation box for a future Tidewalker who may desperately need it!
