007 First Light fans are eligible for a free download until May 25th

007 First Light won't be released until next month, but players can get the James Bond casino suit by playing through a special event that's now free in Hitman World of Assassination. An origin story for Bond, 007 First Light it offers a younger look at the character than fans have seen in most media. In this continuity, Bond has yet to reach 00 status and the story will see him through some early growing pains.

While IO Interactive is best known as a developer Hitman franchise, 007 First Light seems to be borrowing from Uncharted series. The gameplay shown so far has drawn a number of comparisons due to its emphasis on stealth and action. Due to high esteem Uncharted holds many players, it wouldn't hurt if the game ended up borrowing a lot from its inspiration. However, developers will still need to create something that feels authentic to the world James Bond.

To celebrate another IO Interactive game, Hitman World of Assassination players can unlock 007 First LightCasino suit. Until May 25 Hitman players will be able to play the elusive target mission for Le Chiffre for free. This will unlock the casino suit 007 First Light when the game releases on May 27th. Le Chiffre was introduced in the work of Ian Fleming Casino Royaleand the character was portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen in the 2006 adaptation of the same name. Mikkelsen reprized the role Hitman World of Assassinationand players can try to take him down as Agent 47. However, you only need to enter the mission to unlock the bonus. 007 First Light.

Normally, in Le Chiffre, you can only fight in it Hitman World of Assassination via The Banker Pack DLC. Over the next few weeks, IO Interactive is once again offering it to all players for free, presumably as a way to build awareness of the 007 First Lightupcoming release. New James Bond the game will be released on May 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. 007 First Light was delayed to the Nintendo Switch 2 and the game will now be released “later this summer”. The exact date has not yet been announced, but hopefully fans won't have to wait long. Bond has a long history on Nintendo platforms dating back to the Golden eye 007 on the N64. Golden eye is still widely regarded as the best James Bond game ever made, and IO Interactive will have a tough job dethroning the fan favorite.

Le Chiffre may be one of Bond's greatest enemies, but a new one will be introduced in IO Interactive's upcoming game. 007 First Light features Bond against the villain Bawm, voiced by musician and actor Lenny Kravitz. It remains to be seen whether Bawma will prove to be as memorable as some of the all-time greats, but Bond fans won't have to wait too long to see how he fares.
