While Starmie finally received Mega Evolution v Pokemon Legends: ZAone Pokemon a fan created his own version of what the evolved creature might look like. The Pokemon the community is well known for creating fan art based on their favorite pocket monsters and their releases Pokemon Legends: ZA late last year inspired many fan art to share original designs based on the new game.
Set in Luminous City in the Kalos region, Pokemon Legends: ZA introduced some new gameplay mechanics to players to keep the adventure fresh. Game Freak also brought back Mega Evolutions from previous generations. This gave various Pokemon a Mega form for the first time in the franchise. One of these pocket monsters was Starmie. This upgraded version of the Pokemon had longer legs, a design choice that left some fans unhappy.

A Pokemon fan shares what Mega Starmie would look like with longer arms instead of legs
Fortunately, one Reddit user known as HertzBurst decided to change that by creating his own Mega Starmie Z concept and sharing the results for the community to see. In particular, this redesign envisioned what a Mega Evolution of Starmie would look like with longer arms instead of legs. Although this was the only change the artist seemingly made to the design that can be seen Pokemon Legends: ZAit significantly changed the appearance of Pokemon and the community took notice.

Impressively, this Starmie concept has already received more than 4.5 thousand upvotes Pokemon subreddit. Sharing a post on Reddit, HertzBurst provided a mockup of what the new design will look like Pokemon Legends: ZAalong with an image of a creature that appears to walk with arms. Many users commented on the design, with many saying they preferred it over the in-game one. Additionally, some joked that the longer arms reminded them of Wario's mustache.
