One piece reveals a new ability that nullifies the Devil Fruit's powers

Devil Fruits form the primary power system in the world One piece and there are a plethora of abilities, all of which fall into the Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia classes. Over the years, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the series, introduced the overcome Devil Fruits one by one, especially when the series entered its Final Saga on August 29, 2022.

One piece Chapter 1183, which was published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #26 on May 24, 2026, set up the abilities of an overpowered Devil Fruit that has the potential to cancel out the abilities of other Devil Fruits. This Devil Fruit is none other than Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza, which is the God Devil Fruit recently introduced in the Elbaf arc.

One Piece's Rain God Zaza Power has the potential to nullify all abilities

As for Devil Fruit abilities that can cancel other Devil Fruits, Eiichiro Oda has only introduced one until recently, and that is Blackbeard's Yami Yami no Mi. This devil fruit debuted in One piece Chapter 441 which was published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump issue #8 on January 22, 2007.

Not much has been revealed about the role Rain God Zaza played in the past during the Void Century. The only thing we know so far is that all the Sky Dragons fear the Rain God Zaza, and that's because they exist above the clouds and something beyond their control like a natural disaster is terrifying to no end. The god of rain, who showers the lower world with rain and immense floods, is their great fear.
