Lord of Mysteries Officially Announces 3 New Episodes Coming to Crunchyroll June 20, 2026
Crunchyroll has long been the biggest platform for anime streaming since its inception in 2006. Since then, its popularity has grown immensely and it is constantly bringing incredible series even beyond simple Japanese anime. On June 28, 2025, Crunchyroll began streaming what can now be considered the best Chinese-origin anime of all time — Lord of mysteries. Lord of mysteries it went on to a strong run of 13 episodes, ending on September 13, 2025. Since then, the series has received no new content, but that will change in June 2026.
On June 20, 2026, Lord of Mysteries officially returns to the Crunchyroll platform with three new episodes. The first episode will be released on the same day, while the others will be released weekly thereafter, based on current information. All of us Lord of Mysteries fans are excited for this new adventure of Klein Moretti in a new story.

This trailer makes it clear that the upcoming episodes are here to correct the big mistake made by Lord of Mysteries Season 1. As we know, much of the content from Lord of mysteries the book has been removed or covered. These episodes remedy this somewhat, covering important events that were previously cut.
Specifically, these three episodes will add much-needed context to the events that were supposed to take place between episodes 10 and 11 of Lord of Mysteries Series 1. These episodes will highlight Derrick, an important character whose story has not been explored. With new episodes ahead, even more could return and expand from the books. This is incredibly exciting and a great move from the studio after initially rushing the book's story. After all, the skipped content made for a very confusing story, and was a major complaint voiced by die-hard fans and new viewers alike. Klein's story is incredibly complex and deserves ample time to be properly told.

The next Lord of Mysteries content is officially coming in 2027
Lord of mysteries she has already secured her future with CMAY PICTURES. Based on the incredibly popular book by Sepia, who loves diving, this anime has been a worldwide success and has become one of the most popular releases of recent years. With that, the studio behind it has already confirmed a wide range of new content for the franchise.
First, Lord of Mysteries Season 2 has already been officially confirmed. While the exact release date is yet to be determined, Lord of Mysteries Season 2 returns in 2027, meaning the wait won't be that long. Not only does the story return in 2027, but it returns with a higher episode count, an actual opening sequence, and an extended episode length. The return will be even better than season 1 in every way.
After season 2 of Lord of Mysteries, the series already has confirmed content up to season 7. This level of preemptiveness is pretty much unheard of in anime. The studio behind the hit anime has revealed that it plans to release season 3 in 2030, season 4 in 2032, season 5 in 2033, season 6 in 2034 and finally season 7 in 2035. Of course, there's even more content like special episodes as well as an official beta lot, meaning fans are getting a huge beta to look forward to on June 26 to enjoy in the coming years.
