Vegeta has one of the best characters in anime history. The prince of all Saiyans started out as one of the worst characters Dragon Ballbefore becoming conscious and slowly becoming a hero worthy enough to compete with Goku Dragon Ball Superthe real main character. Vegeta put a lot of time and effort into redeeming himself and trying to right the sins of his past. This not only made him a better person, but also a stronger warrior.

Vegeta became a good person Dragon Ball Super's main timeline, the same cannot be said for other versions of Vegeta across the multiverse. Depending on the timeline, Vegeta has a bad habit of being possessed by dark forces that reconnect him with his evil past – and extreme strength. The worst versions of Vegeta are so powerful that they can perform actions that determine fate Dragon Ball multiverse in real danger.

Venyu (Ginyu-Vegeta) leads the Venyu Force and defeats Goku in an alternate timeline

Dragon Ball Xenoverse

In one of the damaged timelines from Dragon Ball XenoverseCaptain Ginyu ends up switching bodies with Vegeta before he can kill Gulda. Now in Vegeta's body, calling himself “Venyu”, Ginyu-Vegeta successfully kills Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta trapped in Captain Ginyu's body before Goku's arrival. Once Goku reaches Namek, Venyu has Ginyu Force rush Goku, distracting him long enough for Ginyu to switch bodies with Goku.

Ginyu-Goku then kills the real Goku (trapped in Vegeta's body) with a Kamehameha. Interestingly, Ginyu-Goku was not supposed to be able to kill Goku-Vegeta. Vegeta naturally has a higher Power Level than Goku and Dragon Ball Z it shows that Ginyu has no way to use Goku's full power. To fix the timeline, the Time Watch sends a future warrior right before Ginyu switches bodies with Vegeta to set things right.

In the main one Dragon Ball Timeline, Vegeta experiences something of a midlife crisis during the Majin Buu Saga. Once the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament is dissolved and Vegeta realizes that Goku got many stronger than him, while training in the Otherworld, he begins to ascend mentally, which Babidi hones in on. Babidi uses his Manipulation Sorcery to awaken the evil in Vegeta's heart, giving him immense power and turning him into one of his Majin warriors.

Unfortunately for Babidi, Vegeta is so powerful that his sorcery does nothing but give him a buff. Majin Vegeta is as strong as Super Saiyan 2 Goku when fighting at full power. The energy from Goku and Majin Vegeta's fight is also so overwhelming that it ends up reviving Majin Buu way ahead of schedule. By all metrics, the power-up Vegeta gets from turning into Majin is permanent, as he remains strong enough to hold his own against Kid Buu at the end of the year. DBZ – something that would have killed him at the beginning of the arc.

In an alternate timeline seen in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2Vegeta performs a god ritual in Goku's place so he can fight Beerus in his universe's version Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Unfortunately, Fu travels to this timeline and immediately corrupts Super Saiyan God Vegeta with dark energy, turning him into Ultra Supervillain Vegeta.

Ultra Supervillain Vegeta uses a mix of God Ki and dark Ki to overwhelm the Z-Fighters. The battle with Ultra Supervillain Vegeta is so intense that Goku manages to brute force unlock Super Saiyan God just to keep up. Super Saiyan God Goku cannot defeat USV Vegeta, but he manages to help him come back to his senses and provide this timeline with two Super Saiyan Gods to fight Beerus.

The Dragon Ball Super the anime contains one filler arc between Tournament of Destroyers and Goku Black Sagas. The Copy-Vegeta saga takes place on the planet Potaufeu, where the Commeson bioweapon takes control of Vegeta and creates a perfect replica that slowly drains Vegeta's life force.

Copy-Vegeta is as strong as Vegeta at the end of the Tournament of Destroyers and can even use Super Saiyan Blue. Super Saiyan Blue Copy-Vegeta proves to be the perfect match for Super Saiyan Blue Goku as Goku tries to gain an advantage over his opponent. In the end, Goku only defeats Copy-Veget as Monaka accidentally steps on the Commeson, lowering Copy-Veget's guard enough for Goku to sneak in a killing blow.

Baby is an artificial Tuffle created by Dr. Myuu to take revenge on the Saiyan race for wiping out the Tuffle in the Saiyan-Tuffle War. After being awakened in the Black Star Dragon Ball Saga, Baby heads to planet Earth where he begins to systematically dominate the entire human race – as well as the strongest Saiyans on Earth. Bringing Gohan and Goten under his control, Baby turns his sights on Vegeta, whom he overpowers and turns into his host body.

Using Vegeta's body as a base, Baby Vegeta is extremely powerful. In his Strongest Form 2 state, Baby Vegeta completely overpowers Super Saiyan 3 Goku, forcing him to find a way to unlock Super Saiyan 4. Even as a Super Saiyan 4, Baby Vegeta is able to overcome Goku by transforming into the Golden Great Ape. Goku eventually wins by absorbing the Ki from his fellow Saiyans and powering up to Super Full Power Saiyan 4 to kill Baby once and for all. At full power, Baby Vegeta is easily one of the strongest characters Dragon Ball GT.

Oren is a Neo Machine Mutant Tuffle from the Planet Tuffle version of Universe 6. During Dragon Ball Super Heroes' Universe Conflict Saga, Oren takes over Capsule Corp. Vegeta (one of the strongest versions of Vegeta in the multiverse) to become Oren Vegeta. Oren Weed is supremely powerful, so much so that it is stronger than Dragon Ball Super Heroes” version of Jiren, said to be the most powerful mortal in the multiverse.

Oren Vegeta is much stronger than Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and requires Goku's CC intervention. Capsule Corp. Goku is the most powerful version of Goku v Dragon Balland one of the most powerful beings in the entire multiverse. By training with the Grand Priest, CC Goku is able to break into the Ultra Instinct Sign and defeat Oren Vegeta. The fact that Oren Vegeta could only be defeated by the most broken Goku speaks to how utterly powerful he is.
