Vanguard, RV there yet?, and more for free with Xbox Game Pass

Xbox has just announced an exciting new wave of titles coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks, and there's something for everyone. Heading the line is the viral co-op indie hit RV There Yet?, which saw a massive run on Steam last year, along with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 and another Call of Duty entry – though it's sadly no old-school classic.

In this article, we'll give you a quick overview of each game coming to the service and what to expect from each one.

Junkster – Available now

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass

A colorful retro-style 3D platformer where the world is your personal sandbox. In Junkyard, you play as a small robot that scavenges its own ramps and platforms to explore a huge alien graveyard. The game launched yesterday and is now available on Xbox Game Pass.

Call Of Duty: Vanguard (Cloud, Console, PC) – Available Now

Xbox Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

If you missed Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2021, you can't blame Activision either. This detour back to the oversaturated WWII era disappointed just about everyone, in large part due to the empty Zombies mode and lack of fresh ideas. But now that the barrier to entry is gone thanks to Xbox Game Pass, it might finally be worth a download – if only for the fun of it, to break through its big-budget single-player campaign.

EA Sports FC 26 (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 18

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass

With the World Cup in full swing, EA Sports FC has arrived on the service just in time. If you've played the series at all in the past twenty years — back when it still had FIFA emblazoned on the box — you already know the drill. Just remember to take water breaks every now and then, okay?

Abyssus (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – June 25

Xbox Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

If you've been craving a dark, atmospheric shooter to sink your teeth into, Abyssus is launching just in time for next weekend. This fast-paced, roguelite multiplayer FPS immerses you in the deep bioluminescent ruins of an ancient underwater civilization teeming with enemy automatons.

RV still there? (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – June 30

Xbox Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

RV There Yet? he is the main friend. The premise is simple: you and up to three friends must drive a completely beat-up motorhome through treacherous roads without accidentally destroying the vehicle—or your friendship. It's a delightfully chaotic mess of jittery physics, frantic repairs and shouting from a nearby chat. And after eight months of waiting, it will finally be parked on Xbox at the end of this month.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 — July 2nd

Xbox Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

If, like me, you still have Avril Lavigne and the Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining your Spotify Wrapped, then this might be your speed. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a remastered remake of two legendary games from the PS2 era, and less than a year after its initial launch, the duology will finally join Xbox Game Pass next month. It's a fantastic trip down memory lane, but be warned that the open-ended career mode wasn't brought back in THPS 4 – so it feels a bit incomplete compared to 1+2.

Winds Of Arcana: Ruination (Cloud, Console, Handheld & PC) – July 6th

Xbox Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

Rounding out the list of new releases is Winds of Arcana: Ruination, a dark fantasy 2.5D Metroidvania from debuting developer Brewed Games. After launching to “Very Positive” reviews on Steam late last year, the fully voiced adventure will move to the service on July 6.
