Not only is Capcom removing Dragon's Dogma 2microtransactions, but the company even downloads the Deluxe Edition of the game. The main draws of the Deluxe Edition were the Explorer's Camping Kit and the Dragon's Dogma Music & Sounds Collection. Those two things will still be available for purchase, but they won't be in the Deluxe Edition bundle. Capcom's delisting will take effect on June 24so players who are still interested in purchasing additional content can do so before this date. Everything purchased before June 24th will remain playable, so that's good news for fans who have already invested beyond what the base game offers.

Dark Arisen breathes new life into Dragon's Dogma 2
Dragon's Dogma 2 has been dormant for quite some time, so the new expansion is an exciting update for players who were hoping for new content. Of course, these games are hard to compare, but Dragon's Dogma 2 it had the potential to get more attention, and it's very possible that some in-game content decisions will damage that original potential.
However, there is a major silver lining. It means a lot less microtransactions, new DLC and its arrival on a fresh console Dragon's Dogma 2 is poised to reach an even larger audience. The Dark Arisen expansion is definitely exciting for many players, but it's also a great way to encourage newcomers to dive in and see what the RPG is all about. Despite its problems, Dragon's Dogma 2 is still one of the best open-world RPGs of the last decade. All the discourse surrounding the game's early days has indeed shrouded it in a thick blanket of microtransaction stigma, but it's definitely a game that deserves a second look. Additionally, Capcom's removal of these controversial features shows that the company paid attention to players' concerns.

One of the most interesting aspects of the Dark Arisen expansion is that it introduces a whole new area of the map for players to explore. Norgan is a snowy region that has been mysteriously abandoned for a long time. New addition to Dragon's Dogma 2The map is exciting, but there will also be plenty of challenges and obstacles for players to watch out for. There are already trailers Dragon's Dogma 2's website that Norgan is full of creatures and hordes that will make exploring much easier said than done. However, the most resilient players will be rewarded.
Those who pre-order Dark Arisen the expansion will get winter clothing cosmetics inspired by the Norgan region.
Players will also be able to look forward to 12 new dungeon challenges. Each dungeon contains rare items that have not yet been fully revealed. Demand for Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC has been a constant request from the community, so it's exciting to see Dark Arisen not skimp on the extra content. Norgan and 12 new dungeon challenges are already post-launch additions worth celebrating, but Dark Arisen adds another upgrade to the mix with changes to the character creator.
There is one thing Dragon's Dogma 2 was appreciated from the start and that is his approach to his own character mechanics. Dragon's Dogma 2 is one of the best games for detailed character creation. Dark Arisen will bring a wave of new hairstyles and tattoos to the character creator, so players can go even further with building their ideal avatar. Maybe it was a long way to get a Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC, but Capcom seems to have answered the call in a big way.
