PC users with a GOG account have a chance to get and keep the critically acclaimed point-and-click puzzle game called Silence until July 10. This is the second free-to-play PC game offered by GOG since the beginning of July, thanks to the ongoing Summer Sale.
Another game that GOG gave away for free was Nexus – The Jupiter Incident. It's a spaceship management and combat simulation game that many consider one of the best real-time tactical sci-fi games of all time. Unfortunately promotion for Nexus – The Jupiter Incident it's over now. The good news, however, is that GOG has already replaced the offer with another interesting free-to-keep title.

Silence is free on GOG right now
Silence is developed by Daedalic Entertainment and won Best Graphics, Best Story and Best Sound at the German Game Developer Award 2016. In terms of gameplay, Silence is a point-and-click puzzler with an in-depth, cinematic story. On Steam, where it has been available since launch, Silence it has 82% positive reviews overall, which could be proof from fans of the genre that this is a quality game. GOG currently has a 100% discount on this indie title, but fans will have to act fast because the offer ends July 10 at 06:00 PDT.

Silence has a lot in common with most classic hand-crafted point-and-click adventure games. Each puzzle acts like an interactive painting that players must carefully explore and unravel its secrets. Fortunately for beginners, there are several optional features that provide additional guidance along the way, so you finish Silence just enjoying his thrilling narrative is also an option. Although he is almost ten years old, Silence it looks and plays great, making it one of the point-and-click games that still meets modern standards.
