How to WooHoo with the Grim Reaper

IN The Sims 4players can command their Sims to fall in love with NPCs by interacting with them and choosing a conversation topic from the Romance category. Repeatedly choosing Romance options will increase the Romance gauge, eventually allowing players to choose new and more romantic options.

Flirting with Sims is a pretty straightforward concept, but not all NPCs are as easy to like as others. The Grim Reaper is probably the most challenging Sim to romance The Sims 4 due to how it only appears when a Sim dies. That, and the fact that the death of a Sim can put the Sim player in a pretty nasty mood, also makes flirting with the Grim Reaper quite a difficult task.

How to summon the Grim Reaper in The Sims 4

In order for the Grim Reaper to appear, players will need to choose a Sim to sacrifice. There are countless ways to kill a Sim The Sims 4but trapping one in the pool is often the fastest. To do this, the player must lure the Sim they plan to sacrifice into the pool; once they are swimming in the pool water, a wall can be built around the edge of the pool to ensure they cannot leave.

After enough time passes, the trapped Sim will die, causing the Grim Reaper to appear. If players wish to keep this Sim alive, they can plead with the Grim Reaper before taking them to the afterlife; otherwise, the player can wait for the Grim Reaper to finish his work. Once the Grim Reaper is done with a Sim in the pool, it will stay on the player's property for a short time before swarming, giving players a chance to befriend and romance it.

If players have played through the Reaper's Rewards event and completed the first week of quests, they will have unlocked the Grimophone, an electronic device available in Build mode that allows players to summon the Grim Reaper.

Players who own the Life and Death expansion pack can join the Reaper careerwhere they come face to face with the Grim Reaper at their workplace. In the Netherworld Department of Death, Sims can easily befriend and fall in love with Grim. Additionally, the Grim Reaper will occasionally roam Ravenwood, the world of life and death.

How to romance the Grim Reaper in The Sims 4

As with any other Sim, the best way to approach a potential romance with the Grim Reaper is to establish a friendship first. This can be achieved by selecting the Grim Reaper after dealing with the sacrificial Sim and selecting any of the conversation topics available in Friendly category. After enough friendly chatter, players are free to flirt with the Grim Reaper to fill the romance meter.

The Grim Reaper disappears shortly after it finishes harvesting, so players will need to be quick if they hope to befriend him.

Filling the romance meter for other NPCs eventually leads to a relationship or marriage, but this is not the case with the Grim Reaper. Even with a full romance meter, players will not be able to take the Grim Reaper unless they use cheats.

How to add the Grim Reaper to your household in The Sims 4

Players hoping to make the Grim Reaper a permanent resident of their home must first enable cheats The Sims 4 by writing “testing cheats on” on Cheat console; Shift-click The Grim Reaper will then give players the option to add him to their family. Players should then select the Grim Reaper icon in the lower left corner of the screen to enter “traits.clear_traits” to the cheat console. This will remove the Grim Reaper's limitations and allow players to interact with him more freely.

Once the Grim Reaper becomes part of a Sim's family, players can romance him as they wish.

How to have a child with the Grim Reaper in The Sims 4

The Life and Death expansion pack added the ability to reproduce with the Grim Reaper The Sims 4. Having a child with the Grim Reaper inside The Sims 4players will have to romance him until the “Try for Baby” option appears on the Physical Intimacy tab in the Romance social menu.

The Grim Reaper is able to impregnate Sims, but is unable to conceive.

Descendants of the Grim Reaper receive the unique Grimborn Trait. Grimborn Sims have a longer lifespan and a scythe-shaped birthmark under their left ear.
