Dragon Age: The Veilguard pits you against eight major enemy factions, with the Venatori serving as some of the most annoying recurring thorns in Rook's side throughout your adventure. This time you must destroy the Venatori crystals and disrupt another dangerous ritual that threatens everyone.

While the Venatori aren't particularly clever with their locking mechanisms, there is one small caveat to the glowing red crystals you find during this mission; they must be destroyed in order. The key is to follow the red beams to their source until you eventually reach an unprotected crystal; destroy this first one and then fight your way to the previously protected ones.
How to find the location of the Venatori ritual
Last rites starts in Wharf Crossing North Area, where you have to find and destroy the red crystals at the Venatori ritual site.
On the ground you will notice a crystal protected by a red shield, hidden behind some large pillars.
If you wait, you will see a red light falling on this crystal from above, leading to another red crystal floating high above.
Destroy the unshielded floating crystal, which will be the opposite remove the shield from the first crystal near the pillars. Destroy the other crystal and then turn towards the large red barrier you will see the third crystal you can destroy.
Finally, destroy the red crystal on the door to deactivate the barrier and open the way.
Examine the ticket in front of the double door entrance you now have access to and yours the quest is updated to save a person in need.
Follow the sign down the nearby staircase to Parthenius main docks.
You will meet group of Venatori here, including the Blood Forge (weak to Cold, resists fire) with a yellow armor bar on top of his normal HP.
Area of Effect (AoE) skills are extremely good here, especially if you can stack Venatori with Blood Forge, allowing you to deal incredible damage to all your opponents at once.
Once you crush the Venatori forces, you'll find a civilian trapped inside a red force field two shielded red crystals powering the civilian's main shield.
Rescue of an imprisoned citizen
First, look up and miss the ship on the civilian's right, and you will see an object that you can interact with hanging high above the ground.
Interact and revealed the first unshielded crystal, then destroy it and it follows the second crystal on the shipwith third the crystal is the right one next to the civilian.
From there, check out the north find the source of another crystal chain inside a nearby building along the wharf.
Destroy the first crystal inside the building, then turn 180 degrees from this door break the second crystal behind you.
Finally, break the third crystal next to the civilian free them from their red shield prison.
What rewards do you get from Last Rites?
When you talk to a civilian, you will complete the last rites, get the following rewards:
- 500 XP
- Bond increases with your companions
- Faction Strength
There are plenty of other Venatori to defeat on your way, so this won't be the last time you see these red crystal puzzles.
