Goku unlocks the imperfect Super Saiyan transformation while fighting Lord Slug

Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug is a great movie that takes place at a strange time in the canon. Technically, the Z Warriors should be on Namek, but they're conveniently on Earth when the titular Namekian comes to take over the planet.
He uses the Dragon Balls to regain his youth and becomes a powerful warrior against whom Goku puts up quite a fight, but the Namekian is too cocky and starts talking about the brutal way he decimated the Earth and its inhabitants. Rage erupts in Goku as he transforms into a Pseudo Super Saiyan and uses this temporary enhancement to give Lord Slug a defeat he will never forget before returning to his base form.
7 Cooler's fourth transformation
Frieza's brother reveals a transformation never seen before

After Goku defeats Frieza, the bully's brother decides to take on the Saiyan who humiliated his family. A one-sided beatdown ensues, especially when Cooler reveals a unique transformation that even Frieza didn't have access to.
However, this amazing power does not prevent him from being defeated by Super Saiyan Goku, who uses his rage to beat Cooler to a pulp before sending him into the sun, causing irreversible damage to his body.
6 Super Android 13

Likewise, it was disappointing to see this formidable Saiyan taken down courtesy of a single punch by Goku after gaining the power of everyone who fought this foe. Fortunately, the canon version of Legendary Super Saiyan Broly did not suffer from this poor writing and had to be overpowered by Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta before his defeat was all but guaranteed.
4 Great Janemba
The embodiment of evil becomes even more sinister

Not only is Fusion Reborn a great movie that will allow players to witness Gogeta's appearance for the first time, but it will also introduce a malevolent antagonist that embodies evil itself. Janemba's original iteration as an infantile kaiju is far from intimidating, but things take a turn for the worse when he transforms into Super Janemba.
This powerful fighter is no joke and was strong enough to take out Goku and Vegeta with little to no effort. It wasn't until the warriors joined forces that Janemba was finally defeated and balance was restored to the afterlife.
3 Golden cooler
Cooler makes an emphatic comeback in Super Dragon Ball Heroes

Super Dragon Ball Heroes may technically be a glorified commercial for an arcade game that's all the rage in Japan, but that shouldn't detract from the spectacle of these episodes. The fact that Cooler is brought back and reveals a new transformation in the second episode makes it clear that fans should just turn off their minds for the experience.

The red hue of this formidable antagonist makes him look deadly as he smashes the Z Warriors into oblivion. It is only after Goku unlocks Ultra Instinct again that he finally defeats this threat with his impressive strength.
1 Super Saiyan Rose Full Power
The Crimson Masked Saiyan shows the full extent of Super Saiyan Rose's power

Crimson is a deadly antagonist, serving as the reincarnation of Goku Black, who is stronger than ever before. This can be seen in his Super Saiyan Rose transformations, which look quite impressive.
This includes Super Saiyan Rose Full Power where the Saiyan's tail grows back as his hair retains the form of Super Saiyan 3. It's a great design and fans can't help but wonder if this form will become canon later on Dragon Ball stories.
