New Pokemon TCG Pocket the leak revealed nine promo cards coming to the game. Promo cards are as special as the rarest cards Pokemon TCG Pocketas most are earned through limited time promotions. They also have some differences from their original counterparts which makes them even more unique.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has 23 promo cards that are part of the Genetic Apex set, a first in the game. Two of the most notable are the Pikachu and Mewtwo cards that players get with a Premium Pass subscription, while the franchise mascot card is no longer available. Another highlight is Lapras ex, the only card of this rarity dedicated to the Kanto Water type and the biggest reward given during the first Solo Battles event. However, after a new wave of disclosures, this list Pokemon cards will be added soon.

Nine Pokemon TCG Pocket promotional cards were revealed in a leak shared by Reddit user itsprimo. The list shows a new Pikachu card with an adorable illustration, Eevee and Charmander cards in equally cute art, Cinccino and Squirtle in a more cartoony style, and Snivy and Volcarona cards. The leak also confirms the arrival of an impressive new promo card Blastoise and ex Moltres.

In addition to this leak, Twitter user pokegirllauren shed some light on when players can expect the two promos on the list. According to her, the Blastoise card will be released in January 2025 in a new Solo Battle event, possibly similar to the Venusaur one. In another tweet, it mentions that a Pikachu card will also be released in January, but didn't reveal how to get it. Players may also notice additional information such as cards highlighted in blue, potential rewards from the Blastoise event, and cards highlighted in red that are part of a future Wonder Pick event. It is not known how Moltres ex will be available, although this will be the fifth variant Pokemon TCG Pocket ex card with the legendary Kanto bird.
