Weapons of Sorrow are fairly powerful (and lore-learned), but that's not the main reason you'll want to collect them. Weapons of Sorrow are needed for this Fate 2A secret exotic mission, Oblation: Bloodlinesfor which we have a complete unlocking guide which you can find below.
Regardless, we've also labeled every weapon Sorrow Fate 2 in this guide and showed you how to get them in case you're missing one, some, or all of them so you can get the weapon you need to start unlocking the final exotic mission Fate 2!

Weapon of Sorrow #1: Thorn
Thorn is the easiest Weapon of Sorrow to obtainbecause just head to the Monuments to Lost Light, which is the golden kiosk by the vaults in the tower. Here you can enter the Light and Dark Saga Exotics tab and find Thorne in Forsaken Exotics for x1 Exotic Cipher and 125,000 Glimmer.
Weapon of Sorrow #2: Osteo Striga
Although it's a bit of a grind, Osteo Striga is guaranteed and not a random RNG drop like the last two Weapons of Sorrow. To get Osteo Striga, you must have Witch Queen expansion and then you will need to complete the campaign to unlock the Relic in the Enclave.
You can then head to Relic and click on “Shape” where on the Submachine Gun tab you will find an Osteo Striga that can now be crafted.
Weapon of Sorrow #3: Touch of Malice
The Touch of Malice is an RNG Exotic that drops after you defeat Oryx, the usurped king, in the final encounter of the King's Fall raid. King's Fall is fun and not too difficult if you can assemble a competent team of 6 guards. However, this is still a raid and Touch of Malice is a reward where luck must be on your side to get it.
Weapon of Sorrow #4: Necrochasm
Necrochasm is also a Raid-exclusive exotic and can only be obtained by defeating Crota's End. However, it's not a given reward and you'll get the “Bedtomless Pit” quest instead. After completing this quest (which requires several runs of Crota's End), you will receive Necrochasm.
Alternatively, you can hope the RNG is on your side as you can get it for killing Crot at the end of the raid! Crota's End is probably the easiest Raid, but will still require building a decent team that knows the mechanics and can farm Crot effectively.
What are the Weapons of Sorrow in Destiny 2?
Weapons of Sorrow are those that have been modified by Hive magicwhich is why you might recognize the theme with the weapon shown above. They all have a similar design to the Hive and all have similar effects in how their bullets can poison those they shoot like the curse of Hive magic.
