The pre-release marketing campaign for DICE's latest first-person shooter emphasized its grounded aesthetic as a contrast to the increasingly over-the-top tone of its main rival, Call of Duty. However, Wicked Grin stands out even more thanks to its strikingly bright color palette, while Fearmanger and Samhain rely on muted shades of grey.

Dozens of fans who responded to Ohforfk's complaint assumed that the upcoming skin fits the game's aesthetic and isn't a big deal. “If you want to use normal, realistic clothing, there are plenty of them,” noted Reddit user Bitemarkz. “If someone wants to wear one with a bit of color, they can,” the fan continued, adding, “it's a video game, not a real war.” In addition to skins, Battlefield 6 Season 1 is also set to introduce new game modes and maps, as well as additional weapons and a few other new features.
