LONDON: Britain is keeping thousands of specialist police on duty in case of racist riots at the weekend, and the government said it was considering tightening regulations on social media companies after days of unrest fueled by online misinformation. Prime Minister Keir Starmer released more police figures and Swift Justice from Wednesday deterred people he described as “far-right thugs” but that authorities would remain on alert for further trouble.
