During the highly anticipated release, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves revealed Gato as the latest playable character to be confirmed for the game. Developed by SNK, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks the return of one of the oldest popular fighting games in the world, with the series starting in 1991 Fatal Fury: King of the Fighters.
In 2022, SNK announced that a Fatal Fury a sequel was in development and filled longtime fans with excitement. After about 26 years, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to mark the return of the franchise on April 24, 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The fighting game will continue the story of the previous entry in the series, 1999 Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Over the past few months, various fighters – such as Kim Dong Hwan and Mai Shiranui – have been revealed to be part of the upcoming Fatal Fury game roster.
