Veiled is an exceptionally well-presented action role-playing game that features incredible attention to detail and the effort that went into hand-crafting the map. Where other games take shortcuts like using procedural generation to create the world, Veiled goes old school. Care and attention has been given to every detail of the game, and this also applies to the weapons.

As with most fantasy games, swords are very common weapons Veiled. And the traditional sword and board solo build is very viable in this game. Whether a player wants to specialize in dealing damage or take on more of a tank role, the sword is a great weapon of choice in Veiled.

Updated December 10, 2024 by Mac Wheeler:Since this list was first published, several updates have been made to Enshrouded, adding content and features. Most notably, the update added dungeon-style content, Hollow Halls. Therefore, it made sense to revisit this list and add some of the newer swords that were either added to the game in updates or that players found after the original list was published. Many of the new swords have multiple damage types, giving them more utility as it means the player won't have to switch weapons as often to match enemies' damage vulnerabilities.

11 A sharpened broadsword

Piercing, cutting and shell damage in one weapon

The Sharpened Broadsword is absolutely huge. The model is really quite stunning but very cool. But the best thing about the Sharpened Broadsword, aside from its awesome aesthetics, is the fact that it deals three different types of damage; piercing, sheathing and cutting damage. This makes him something of a jack of all trades.

Due to its excellent utility, this is a weapon that any sword and plate setup should have in their inventory. She can be a bit difficult to manage as she is not found in loot chests and can only be looted from the dead bodies of Fell enemies.

10 A noble sword

A good Min-Game weapon

The Noble Sword is a good replacement for early game swords like the Scrappy Sword which is crafted by the Blacksmith NPC. It's pretty easy for novice players, and if the legendary version is successfully looted, it deals maximum damage that all swords share. Veiled.

Finding a noble sword is quite simple. It can be looted from Pike Capital City POI in Revelwood. However, the player may have to use the reload/respawn trick to loot the legendary version of this sword. This is a great weapon for early game warriors and tanks. Find a likely chest, preferably a gold one, and take plenty of locks with you before you start looting this weapon.

9 Wolf's Maw

Don't be fooled by the somewhat low durability of the Wolf's Maw in sword Veiled. This is a fantastic multi-purpose sword that will suit many builds as a main weapon. This is because of the very high blunt damage. 40% of all damage this sword deals is blunt, with the rest split between scoring and slashing.

Another great thing about the Wolf's Maw sword Veiled In fact, it is one of the easier legendary swords to capture. Head to the Kindlewastes, Nomad Highlands or Revelwoods zones to farm gold chests. The usual save scum technique will work here.

8 White Wolf Sword

Chest Loot Sword From the Kindlewastes Region

The White Wolf Sword is another contender for a replacement mid-game sword. This weapon is very easy to loot and has max damage stats if the player can loot the legendary version.

To find the White Wolf Sword, head to Kindle wastes region on the map. All chests in this area have the White Wolf Sword on their loot tables. However, golden chests have a higher chance of containing a legendary version of this sword. As usual, the reload/respawn trick can be used to farm the appropriate chests.

7 Sword of Radiance

A contender for the best midgame sword

Although the Sword Of Radiance is harder to loot than the previous two swords on this list, it can still be obtained by mid-game players who don't have very good equipment. With patience and skill, it is possible to skip the previous two swords and go straight for the Sword Of Radiance.

This sword is located in Nomadic Highlands flat. Find the sport and climb to the top, then glide down to the southwest to find a gold chest on top of one of the smaller towers. Use the reload/respawn trick until the legendary version of this sword.

6 Ice blade

An easy to pick up mid game sword

The Ice Blade is a good mid-game weapon for warriors, people who play tank builds, or anyone who has mastered a few tank skills and needs a one-handed weapon. It is another easy to loot sword Veiled. Easy is a relative term here. It's easy to get to the location where this sword can be looted, but depending on the RNG, looting the legendary version can take some time.

Go to Kindle wastes and look for chests, preferably gold. After finding the chest, use the reload/respawn trick until the legendary version of this sword is looted from the chest.

5 Sacrilegious Steel Sword

Stabbing, slashing and blunt damage in one weapon

Sacrilegious Steelsword is another sword with fantastic utility Veiled players. This is a sword with three damage types; piercing, cutting and blunt. Blunt damage is especially useful since that's generally something maces feature.

The description of this sword is pretty good, stating that it was forged from steel taken from fallen soldiers. However, this weapon has a downside. It can only be looted from coffins inside Hollow Halls, meaning it won't be easy to get until later in the game.

4 Sunbeam

Slashing and stabbing with a sword with little fire damage

Sunbeam is a great new sword weapon Veiled players to try to loot. As with most swords, it deals primarily slashing and stabbing damage, though it also has a small amount of fire damage, somewhere around 10%.

The really cool thing about this great legendary sword is that it shouldn't be too hard to grab. Found as a legendary item in gold chests in the Kindlewastes and Nomad Highlands areas. A rare version of this sword can be looted from silver chests in the same locations.

3 Major Arcana

An end game weapon that is very hard to get

This great looking sword is one of the best to find in gaming Veiled. However, it also has a dark side. Looting this sword is so difficult for many Veiled players believe there is a game bug that prevents this sword from dropping as often as it should.

Major Arcana can only be looted in level 30 zone at the end of the map. This means that players who are not prepared enough will struggle to get to a place where they would try to capture this sword.

2 New

Almost the best but hard to find

• Durability: 300

Nova might take the top spot on this list, but the final pick has it for one reason, which will be explained. Nova is a great sword, but quite hard to find. There is only one confirmed location where players can loot it.

IN Kindle wastes region, there is a small cave in the north. There is a chest in this cave and Nova is in the loot for this chest. However, be prepared for a long reload/respawn trick session if the player is not very lucky. But the Nova is a great weapon and worth it.

1 Flaming sword

A sword that shines!

Like most swords in Veiled share similar stats, Enflamed Sword takes the top spot on this list for one very specific reason: it lights up. This means that the player will not have to switch to carrying a torch when entering dark environments such as caves and tombs.

The best place to loot the Enflamed Sword is nearby Temple of the Sun. Head there and then go southwest a bit. There is a small ledge on the cliff that should be placed. Climb or jump to this ledge and there is a gold chest on this ledge. Use the reload/respawn trick until the Enflamed Sword appears.
