Demon realm equivalent of Senzu

Episode 4 Dragon Ball DAIMA introduced a number of interesting new concepts endemic to the Demon Realm, region Dragon Ball a universe that has barely been explored in canon thus far. The introduction of different types of Medi-Bug added some exciting possibilities, and as Goku and the Supreme Kai's journey into the mysterious environment of this new series continues, we'll get a better idea of the benefits of these strange items.

Revive Bugs, with their supposed ability to restore stamina when consumed, have been compared to highly plot-important magical beans grown only on Korin's tower, Senzu. What exactly are Revive Bugs and is Goku's comparison of them to Senzu apt?

What are Medi-Bugs?

When Supreme Kai, Goku, and Glorio come across a small shop located in the Third Demon World, they find a variety of strange and interesting items in stock, including strange bugs of various shapes and colors called Medi-Bugs. When consumed, Medi-Bugs have various medicinal effects, including relieving headaches from Zutsu Bugs; burn relief from Achichi Bugs; and Revive Bugs, which restore stamina. Goku himself has said that this effect is like the Senzu that Dragon Fighters have relied on to revive downed allies throughout the franchise. Senzu are rare beans grown only on Korin's Tower and almost instantly restore a fighter's physical condition when eaten, making them very important to have in battle.

Senzu restore ki, health, stamina, and are so nutritious that they can keep a person full for days. They are capable of curing all kinds of poisoning and are powerful enough to facilitate the regeneration of damaged organs and even limbs if administered early enough. They are unable to heal old wounds that have already scarred, so removed Saiyan tails do not return. They have been shown many times throughout the series to revive fighters on the brink of death, but their rarity and difficulty of growth is the main difference to Revive Bugs, which seem to be plentiful. The full abilities of Revive Bugs have not yet been explained as they cannot be used yet Dragon Ball DAIMAbut it would be very beneficial for Goku and his friends to be as effective as Senzu. However, the existence of Achichi and Zutsu Bugs can be a clue to what Revive Bugs can and can't do, as it's possible that Revive Bugs can't deal with the problems associated with the aforementioned Medi-Bugs.
