Unlike more recent Moon Knight designs that favor an all-white suit or emphasize the connection between Moon Knight and the Egyptian god Khonshu, Rivals the design emphasizes a superhero style body armor and technologically enhanced accessories. Moon Knight's distinct cloaked silhouette is recreated by combining the visor-based Virtuous Mask and the Parade Cloak class item's peaked hood. Meanwhile, the more tactical body armor style replicates the Hardened Basilisk Vambraces, Dungeons & Dragonsa Spectral Displacer-themed cuirass and a Digital Variance ornament for the exotic Star-Eater Scales armor.


The costume was highly praised by players, praising how accurately it recreated Moon Knight's look, right down to the character's odd monochromatic color blocking.
