EA revealed improved features Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 5 Pro. Improvements made to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor feature a combination of various visual upgrades that take advantage of the new console's powerful hardware.
Details of the game's new features on the PS5 Pro were revealed by publisher EA on November 7, the same day as the launch of the new mid-generation PlayStation console. With plenty of upgrades over the standard PlayStation 5 console that was released in 2020, including better memory, rendering and storage, the PlayStation 5 Pro should make any PS5 game perform better when played on the new console. However, several developers have updated their games to take advantage of the new hardware, and the list of PS5 Pro-enhanced games at the console's launch numbers more than 50, including Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

While the announcement on EA's official website doesn't include any surprising PS5 Pro upgrades aside from visual and performance enhancements, EA is using them to break down the PS5 Pro-enhanced. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor two-part upgrades that both deal with a noticeably higher base resolution in both Performance and Quality modes. While running Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in Quality Mode, the PS5 Pro version resamples the image from 1800p to 2160p while maintaining 4K resolution and ray-traced elements. When switched to Performance Mode, the new console will increase the game's resolution from 1200p to 1800p, still providing more vivid and detailed visuals, and this mode also uses ray-traced occlusions and reflections while maintaining a frame rate of 60 fps.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Pro Upgrade
An action-adventure game originally released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in April 2023 set in Star Wars universe was ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One less than two months ago. Developer Respawn Entertainment is still working on releasing patches for the game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor an October update specifically aimed at improving the game on last-gen console versions. While neither Respawn nor EA said it, some fans have expressed their belief that the October patch will allow the last-gen version of the game to have at least one more potential future release on an eventual Nintendo Switch successor.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor isn't the only game from its fictional galaxy to receive a PS5 Pro upgrade. A newer edition Star Wars game by Ubisoft Star Wars Outlawsis also on this list, although the game's news page doesn't have any details on what specific improvements the PlayStation 5 Pro brings to the game.
