With a game as densely packed with details as Dragon Age: The Veilguard, it can be easy to overlook things when you're focused on more important things like flirting with Harding again. that's okay. The Old Gods bent on corrupting the world can wait.

Music room
This near Solas invites you to his band's concert
When you find yourself at the Lighthouse, your base of operations in The Veilguard, you might think you've seen pretty much everything after your first quick walk through the area. But even at the beginning you can unlock an interesting room that will help materialize the character of the place.
Solve the statue puzzle in the Lighthouse and a stone passage leading to the Music Room will open in the main chamber. Along with a gorgeous piano and perfect golden hour lighting, it also contains some treasure and a codex entry. Additionally, you may want to take note of any other suspicious-looking doors.

Forum Felis
Cat Cafes Close Without Apocalypse
While exploring Dock Town in Minrathous, you may notice a small area just out of reach with a cat sitting on a windowsill. Try as you might, you just can't do it. But don't lose heart because your patience will be worth it.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has plenty of hidden areas and secret locations, but which ones are worth tracking down?
As the game progresses, you can come back later to find the door to the establishment finally open, revealing an interesting place called the Felis Forum. As the name suggests, it seems to be a hangout for all the cats in Dock Town, and yes, you can pet them.

Dellamorte Estates puzzle statue
The best thing you can find in Assassin's Yard
As you wander around the distinguished Antivan metropolis of Treviso, just imagining what kinds of enchanting coffee aromas permeate the streets, you might feel the urge to defeat some of Antaam's occupying forces. It's an understandable urge.
But if you continue past one of these groups near the center of the map, you'll eventually find yourself in Dellamorte Estates. Yes, just like your assassin buddy Lucanis Dellamorte. In addition to being a gorgeous courtyard, it also contains a statue puzzle worth finding some really nice treasure.

Treasure of the Rivaini Waterfall
Always look behind the waterfall
This little secret is really easy to miss unless you happen to have Taash with you, and come on, you will have Taash with you. But it's still kind of blink-and-you-miss-it. In the first Rivain Coast area right after you meet them, you'll see a waterfall on the side.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Every Region, Ranked
Dragon Age: The Veilguard takes you to the far reaches of Thedas, but which one is best for Rook and his team?
Of course, since this is a video game and you're a smart little video game champ, you probably already have that “check behind every waterfall” itch ingrained in your soul. But even if you miss it, Taash dutifully suggests you check out their perfectly deadpan manner. Treasures, some resources, and a sense of fulfillment of the player's rules await you in this corner.
4
Sheltered Glade Chest
How did the Rangers miss this?
The Hossberg Wetlands are already an unfortunate place, from the blighted landscape to the oddly crumpled name itself. So you might not be too inclined to pay much attention to its bloated details, even before you have to fight a creepy scarecrow.
But you may have seen the ladder pushed to the side in the Sheltered Glade area as you tried to contain your dry heaving. You will find some statues there (this game loves statue puzzles). Have them each face a nearby torch to open the door to some loot, which may or may not be worth the inevitable showers you'll have to take later.
3
Picturesque waterfall respite
The treasure behind this waterfall is you
Not every hidden location needs a tangible reward to be worth the trouble. While exploring Arlathan Forest, you can find a small walkway to the southeast that circles around behind the waterfall. That's it, that's the secret.

Dragon Age: The most amazing places in the series
Find out all about the best places to visit in the Dragon Age series!
You can find a small place to collect resources there, sure, but the point here is the vibes. Just standing there, enjoying the soothing sounds of the water and the breathtaking rainbows shimmering between the falls can be worth putting down the controller and relaxing a bit. At least until Taash starts bugging Emmrich that he's a “skullman” again.
2
Balcony of the memorial garden
If your grave doesn't have a secret treasure, pick it up
While on a quest with your adorable necromancer Emmrich in Scorpion Love Lures, he will take you to the Memorial Garden in the Necropolis Halls. This place is hauntingly breathtaking in the best way and would be absolutely perfect for any goth kids in the Dragon Age universe.
This highly respected graveyard holds many secrets along with interesting lore for Mournwatch players. But specifics can be hard to come by. There is a chest above the entrance to the garden, and to find it you must enter a portal in a nearby mausoleum surrounded by mist. You'll be rewarded with treasure and the prospect of dying (and probably being resurrected as a useful corpse).
1
Wolf's Den
Perfect place for eggs to hatch
If the reward you need is a good view, then look no further than the Wolf's Den in the Lighthouse. Remember that secret passage leading to the Music Room on one side of the main room? It stands to reason that the other side also has its own hidden surprises. Symmetry is a beautiful thing.
Continue through the music room with the help of the new trickle you'll find upstairs outside, and another puzzle involving these fun beam things will eventually unlock another door. This will get you to the highest point of the Lighthouse along with the new monument to be displayed in the courtyard and the balcony with the best view of the whole place.
