Every Spider-Man Noir game

Nicolas Cage Spider-Noir is available to watch on MGM+ or Amazon Prime Video, depending on your location. Although Cage voices the character in Into the Spider-Verse films, the series stands alone and is not an extension of the films or the MCU. While that might be odd these days, it also means you can pretty much enjoy the show in complete isolation. However, if you want more Spider-Noir (or Spider-Man Noir) goodness, the games have got your back.

The tough hero from Earth-90214 (in the comics) doesn't appear directly in too many titles, but his aesthetic appears as a skin or suit in many Spider-Man gameshardly a surprise given his eye-catching costume. Anyone who aspires to embody the Nicolas Cage version should get one of these releases, and the possibilities are endless.

Games With Spider-Noir as a playable character

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

A typical Spider-Man Noir game

Let's get the most obvious out of the way: Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Although not the only game to feature a playable Spider-Man Noir, this 2010 release features his most substantial role by far, serving as the co-protagonist. Divided into four universes and Spider-Men, Broken dimensions dedicated three levels to each version, all of which shifted the game's focus somewhat.

Best Spider-Man Animated Series, Ranked

There have been many attempts to make the best Spider-Man animated series, but which ones have been Marvel's most successful?

Spider-Noir adopts a stealth approach where the hero uses shadows to keep himself out of sight and mind. Even more than Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Noir seemed like the best candidate to use for a spin-off game, especially one that allowed players to explore its 1930s New York in all its gritty glory. Unfortunately, that never happened, but Broken dimensions nevertheless, it ranks as the definitive Noir experience (and one of the best Spider-Man games).

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2

Of course Lego Spider-Noir exists

Here it is: another big game with playable Spider-Noir. With regard to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Covering just about every character under the sun, the old-school version of Peter Parker showing up shouldn't really come as a surprise, and is just one of the plethora of Spider-Men on the list. Still, Traveler's Tales gave Spider-Man Noir enough personality to feel like his own entity, rather than just a palette-swapped version of the standard Spider-Man.

As for the story, Spider-Man Noir gets some time in the spotlight during Level 9, titled “Noir Night-Mayor”. While it's not a long stretch, the short detour into the past comes with a nice sepia filter, a Kingpin fight, and several new character unlocks, including Spider-Man Noir.

Marvel Snap

Well, sort of… Spider-Man Noir has a card

Marvel snap studio comments on the future of the game.

Does that count? Honestly, I'm not sure if this counts.

technically speaking, Marvel Snap has a playable Spider-Man Noir in the sense that you, the player, can use the character card as part of your deck. His card power states, “Set the top card of your deck's power to 8. If your other cards in play cost exactly 8 in total, add them here,” which requires activating a pretty tough requirement to get the most out of Spider-Man Noir. I admit that I fell away Marvel Snap long ago, so I can't speak 100% about the competitiveness of this card. However, from what I've found myself, this card isn't considered particularly useful.

Defunct games featuring Spider-Noir

Marvel: Avengers Alliance, Spider-Man Unlimitedand Marvel Super Hero Squad online also had a version of Spider-Man Noir as a playable character. All three games are now defunct, although the latter two can still be played using workarounds or fan servers.

Insomnia Marvel's Spider-Man is arguably the most complete wall crawler experience ever, culminating in story, world, combat, and (especially) traversal. The optional content in the open world falls a bit short, but the game delivers a whopping 25 hours of campaign. Although more than able to find his own voice, Spider-Man doesn't hesitate to reference the source material or Peter's past accomplishments, especially in his 40+ costumes.

The Noir Suit can be unlocked after completing mission 5, so it's quite accessible. Although it is inspired by the original look of v Spider-Man Noir comics, the aesthetic is primarily derived from Broken dimensionsTake on the character, which is an understandable decision as most players will likely be more familiar with this version.

Into The Spider-Verse Noir Suit

With two playable characters, more forms and an even wider world, Marvel's Spider-Man 2“More is more” seemed to be the mantra. Naturally, this expanded to unlockable costumes, with the base game having over 65 (and 90 including DLC). It comes out a few years later Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseInsomniac's sequel opted for this movie version of the suit rather than the version from the comics or older games.

Complete with a trench coat and fedora, the suit even adds an animation filter that mimics the character's jerky movement from the film, making it one of the most visually interesting costumes in the film. Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, this costume will not automatically change Peter's voice to Nicolas Cage.

Fortnite

The Spider-Gang is in Fortnite… Of course

Skin Fortnite Spider-Man Noir

If one wants to become a cage, one must convert Dead by Daylightwhere the actor appears as one of the survivors. Surprisingly, Fortnite he doesn't have a Nicolas Cage skin, opting instead to stick to his characters' skins.

Included as part Through Spider-Verse's Spider-Gang Bundle, Spider-Man Noir debuted in December 2024, with his last in-store run ending on February 28, 2025. He hasn't returned to the rotation since, though I imagine that will change once we finally get the third entry in Sony's animated series. Aesthetically, the skin looks fantastic, perfectly mimicking the profile of the character from the movies.
