Nexon Games has revealed some of their plans First offspring Season 2, which starts on Thursday, December 5th. Second season First offspring will feature new characters and implement changes based on player feedback gathered during Season 1.

First offspring it launched on July 2 to mixed critical reception, and the developers at Nexon Games worked to improve the game with bug fixes, balance adjustments, and new content updates during the preseason and Season 1. First offspringtitled Invasion, it launched on August 29 and introduced playable sniper Hailey, a new seasonal Battle Pass, new dungeons and much more. Two more updates were planned for Season 1, but Nexon Games decided to restructure the season update schedule in order to release a large update on October 10. This change was made after fans expressed their frustration with the limited-time content, which included the release of Ultimate Freyna. Developers from First offspring they are also considering feedback for changes and content coming in Season 2.

Another major addition in First offspring Season 2's unfortunate loot drop system will address some of the concerns players had about the drop rate during Season 1. According to Nexon Games, the “Target Reward” system will allow players to earn guaranteed rewards after a set number of attempts, instead of relying on drop rate. In Season 2, Enhanced Shape Stabilizers will be new limited-time rewards that will increase the chances of obtaining rare items from amorphous materials in First offspring. These changes should make farming fairer and more rewarding for all players.


Nexon Games also revealed their post-Season 2 plans, including grappling and mobility improvements and an increase in overall combat density. Some of these mid-to-long-term changes are still being considered by the team, so it's not definitive until future patch notes or other Q&As confirm what will change later.
