Forza Horizon 6 already has over a million players in advanced access

Forza Horizon 6 isn't even out for most of us, but its expensive $120 advanced access edition is at the top of the charts and has already gathered more than a million players.

Although Halo and Gears of War are arguably the most iconic Xbox franchises, Forza Horizon has always been an absolute juggernaut when it comes to sales. Forza Horizon 4 remains the second best-selling game on Xbox One, behind only the frankly unbeatable Grand Theft Auto 5, while Horizon 5 once again dominated the sales charts when it jumped to PlayStation.

With all of that said, I think we all expected Forza Horizon 6 to do gangbusters for the Xbox, especially since its glowing reviews placed it as one of the best-rated games of 2026 so far. It looks like that obvious prediction has already come true, as the Advanced Access edition of the game is apparently selling very well and bringing in a lot of players.

Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition tops the Xbox charts worldwide

More than a million players have already paid more to jump in early

As pointed out by Twitter user HazzadorGamin, the $120 Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition, which gives you a few days of early access to the game until its full release on May 19, is currently at the top of Xbox Stores around the world. In the US store, Forza Horizon 6 is in first place with its premium update pack in third, just behind, strangely, Mortal Kombat 11.

It's the same story on the UK Xbox Store version and every other version I've checked. To be fair, there's nothing else that can replace such a massive Xbox exclusive (until the PS5 version drops), but it does show how many people are willing to pay extra to skip Game Pass and go straight to racing in Japan.

But that's not all, as DayOne announced that the in-game leaderboards for Horizon 6 confirm that over one million players have already seen the game. Considering that number and the game's sole price, which is currently the $120 Premium Edition, Insider Gaming estimates that it has already brought in around $140 million in revenue for the Xbox in just a few days.
