Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen is getting more exciting with each passing chapter and fans are absolutely in love with how the plot has been going lately. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo currently only has 9 chaptersbut it's already quite clear that this is shaping up to be a brilliant story.
Fans, including those who criticized Gege Akutami's writing, can't help but give the author his flowers. Modulo has done a phenomenal job writing so far and even recently introduced one of Jujutsu Kaisen's best characters in Dura, one of the Rumelians from Simuria. Shaped by hope, optimism and tragedy, Dura's character captivated fansand it's pretty clear to see Gege Akutami wrote one of the best characters in the franchise in it. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9 officially closed the story of Durabut the character is so interesting that he will continue to influence the plot of the story even after his death. Everything that happens in the story from here on out will be shaped by how Dura livedand for Gege to form such an important character in just two chapters just goes to show his skills as a mangaka.

Dura is not the main character Jujutsu Kaisen module and he most certainly did not appear at the beginning. Although both Cross and Maru are associated with Durahis role in the story is very different from that of the two brothers. Dura was first introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 8 in Cross's flashback and it was very clear that he was the one who made them the way they are.

Dura belonged to the Rumelians of Simuriaand was known to be the strongest of the lot. After losing the war with the Deskunte, most of their previous land was taken and they were pushed into a land without any future. Where others saw a dead end, Dura saw a new future. Dura built a canal that eventually led to the creation of trade routes and irrigating the land, giving impetus to the Rumelians' new home.
He was like a king to the people. But Dura did more than just that. He raised another Cross and Mara and instilled in them the idea of peaceful coexistence with neighbors despite cultural and religious differences. Dura sought a peaceful life where everyone put aside their differences and united in harmony and where there was no bloodshed. But eventually his voice fell on deaf ears as he fell victim to a religious and cultural war between tribes.

Dur's end was tragic as he ended up with his best friend, Dabura, known as one of the strongest of the Deskunte. Dabura, however, now bears his will and has left Simuria with the Rumelians to seek a place where they can truly belong and peacefully coexist with their new neighbors.

Dura is dead in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulobut his role is far from over. Dura shaped both Mara and Cross. Dura played a significant role in giving them a dream for the future the overarching plot of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. His legacy will support Maru, Cross and even Dabur. Dur's work for a better future will mainly save the Rumelian race, who will continue to search for perfect neighbors and live a peaceful life.
Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended at the end of 2024, can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus where this series has been available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo that runs in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine.
