The Butterbear event takes place in Butterbear Collaboration Zone on Art Street. After entering the event page, select Butterbear Island Adventure to access the board game.

Each dice roll moves Butterbear forward on the board. Different spaces provide different rewards and effects. Some spaces grant cookies, while others grant bonus dice, movement boosts, or special items.

Completing the starting point rewards cookies, while golden gaps offer some of the highest cookie payouts on the board. Landing directly on a gold field provides a greater reward than simply passing through it, making these locations extremely valuable when paired with bonus effects.

The Butterbear Board Game, Explained

The board game is quite simple: we control Butterbear to move around the map, we collect cookies that we can spend in the store. There are different types of spaces on the map and you can tap on them to read their effects:

  • Drive-through locations: You can get 3 or 9 cookies just by driving through them.

  • Foot Icon: A space to step moves Butterbear forward one to six additional spaces at random, which can sometimes lead to valuable rewards.

  • Question-Mark Space: Gives you an extra die.

  • Landing Areas: Stop here to get 18 cookies.

  • The surprise space awards either double cookies or a remote control cube.

  • Distance Cube: Allows you to select any exact number from 1 to 6 to move. It costs one Remote item and one standard die.

  • Double Cookie: Your next step doubles all cookie rewards. It costs one Double Cookie item and one standard die.

Each day during the event you can claim a random item (either Remote Die or Double Cookie) from the barter for free. These items can also drop as loot as you move around the board.

How to get more dice in the Butterbear Heartopia event

Dice are the most important resource during the Butterbear event, as you need them for every move.

Resident requirements

The easiest way to earn cubes is through daily resident requests. Each fulfilled requirement gives one die. This way players can get five dice per day. Since the event lasts for more than three weeks, consistently completing these requirements can give you over 100 dice before the event ends.

Current events Quests

You can also get more dice from current quests. Accomplishing these goals rewards each with three dice:

  • Spend a total of 20,000 gold.

  • Spend a total of 50,000 gold.

  • Spend a total of 80,000 gold.

  • Collect 8 Oak Wood.

  • Collect 15 oak wood.

  • Collect 8 Flawless Flourites.

  • Collect 15 Flawless Flourites.

  • Complete 3x personal event objectives.

  • Complete personal event objectives 6 times.

As Roaming Oak Timber and Flawless Flourites have daily collection limits, it pays to start these objectives as early as possible rather than leaving them until the last week.

Guide to Rainbow events in Heartopia

Some fish only spawn during Rainbow events in Heartopia. Here is a list of all Rainbow fish and where to find them.

Milestone Rewards

Players can also earn extra dice through milestone rewards earned by a certain number of rolls during the event.

Shopping with Heart Diamonds

Those willing to spend the premium currency can purchase individual rolls for 3 Pink Heart Diamonds directly from the game board screen.

If you intend to spend diamonds, check out the stock shop for promotional packs (like the pack offering 20 rolls for 30 heart diamonds) which offer a much better conversion rate than buying individual rolls.

Butterbear Banner and Gacha Rewards

Alongside the board game event, the Butterbear crossover also features two limited-time Gilded Acorn Exhibition banners: “The Baker” and “Flavor Explorer”.

Treasures drawn during the event will not be repeated. You are guaranteed to get all the treasures in a maximum of 10 tries. However, with each draw, the number of show tickets required increases.

One of the most requested rewards is the special Butterbear shopping cart vehicle. If you manage to pull this rare reward before completing the banner, all remaining items in the collection will be instantly unlocked.

Collaboration rares have a very low drop rate during the first few draws, but the odds increase substantially as players approach the guaranteed reward threshold.

All Butterbear Exchange Store rewards

Each cookie earned on the Island Adventure board can be spent at the Butterbear Exchange Store. Most of the rewards are based on a bakery theme and include cute decorations and furniture pieces not available elsewhere. We know that the overall demand for cookies is high, so participate in the event daily.

The full list of rewards includes:

  • Butterbear Bakery costs 1,600 cookies.

  • Butterbear Restaurant Corner costs 1,600 cookies.

  • The Butterbear statue costs 1300 cookies.

  • Butterbear Dessert Counter costs 1,000 cookies.

  • Butterbear Balloon Standee costs 500 cookies.

  • Cream Bread Pet Bed costs 360 cookies.

  • Butterbear Bread Set costs 280 cookies.

  • Butterbear Road Sign costs 280 cookies.

  • Butterbear wrapping paper costs 50 cookies.

  • Butterbear Emojis cost 34 cookies.

Each reward requires over 7,000 cookies to purchase, making the entire store difficult for most free-to-play players. Because of this, many players prefer the bakery, restaurant corner, and statue first, as they are the most unique items to cooperate with.

Any remaining cookies after purchasing rewards can be exchanged for gold at a rate of 1 gold per cookie.
