How to change ship cosmetics
Ys X: Nordics features different costumes for each of the two main characters that can greatly enhance their appearance. The game introduces costumes fairly early in the story by giving you a free outfit for Karja. However, you won't be able to access other outfits until later if you don't have the DLC.

While these costumes don't provide any stat benefits, some of them look incredibly cool. If you don't have any DLC downloaded, you can still purchase some outfits from the in-game shops as you progress through the story.
How to get clothes
Most of the costumes and accessories in the game can be obtained through DLC. If you've downloaded any costume DLC, you'll need to follow these steps first get costumes from DLC items in your inventory before you can equip them:

Press the Main Menu button.

Go to the Inventory section.

Go to the DLC tab.

Select the desired DLC item and apply it get clothes and materials.
How to change clothes
In addition to the costume, you can equip up to three different accessories for your characters from the Cosmetics section. Once you get the clothes, you can equip them according to these steps:

From the main menu, go to the equipment section.

Scroll down until you see the Cosmetics section.

Select the first option from the Cosmetics section and choose the desired outfit.

Scroll down and select the next three options in addition to the first one choose accessories for the outfit that you want to equip for the character.
Adol and Karja wear different clothes and hairstyles. However, all other outfit accessories can be equipped for any character.
How to change ship cosmetics
In addition to clothes for the two main characters, you will also get several cosmetic items for your shipSandras, from the Sandras Pack DLC. However, dressing up a ship is quite different from simply changing the clothes of your characters.
You can change the costumes of your characters from anywhere, but if you want to dress up your ship, you will need to head to the shipwrightsuch as Ulvar on Balta Island. After entering the ship shop, you will need to follow these steps change the appearance of your ship:

Select Check/change ship load option from the store menu.

Switch to the Loadout tab.

Scroll down to Ornaments section.

Here you can choose up to four cosmetic options for Sandra.
