IN Path of Exile 2Breach Splinters are a special item type that only drop from Breach encounters. In previous leagues, Breach Splinters could be combined to form a Breachstone. However, since Patch 0.5, GGG has reworked how Breach works PoE 2replacing the previous iteration with the Genesis Tree z system PoE 1's Keepers of the Flame league.
Because of this, the previous method of combining Breach Splinters into Breachstone no longer works. In addition, the way Breachstones are used has also been changed. Here is the breakdown.

How to combine Breach Splinters in PoE 2
IN PoE 2players can combine 300 Breach Splinters into Revelatory Wombgift. Revelatory Wombgift can the “birth” of the Breachstone at the Genesis Tree on the Monastery of the Keepers map in Atlas by placing it in the Breachstone Womb, located right in the middle of the Genesis Tree interface.
The maximum stack size of Breach Splinters is 300, but they only combine to create a Revelatory Wombgift in your inventory. In Stash Tabs, Breach Splinters can stack endlessly and in order To combine them, you must first take them out, place them in your inventory on separate piles, and then combine those piles get 1 Revelatory Wombgift. It can then be turned into a Breachstone on the Genesis Tree via Breachstone Womb.
How to convert Revelatory Wombgift to Breachstone
Spawning any Wombgift in the Tree of Genesis requires players to pay a certain amount of Hiveblood corresponding to the level of the Wombgift item. The Revelatory Wombgift is no different. In our game, spawning a level 80 Revelatory Wombgift costs Breachstone 3,411 Hiveblood.
How to get Hiveblood
Hiveblood is obtained by clearing breach encounters on the Atlas mapwhich consist of Breach Strongholds, where you have to stand and defend a place against multiple waves of Breach monsters for multiple waves, or the Hive, which is a Breach mechanic. PoE 2 players will be familiar with the previous leagues, which consist of finding and launching Breach hands on the map and killing Breach monsters that appear in a purple circle as it grows.
The higher the encounter level, the more Hiveblood you get, so running level 15+ Waystone Breach maps is the best way to farm lots and lots of Hiveblood.
How to use Breachstones in PoE 2
Breachstones can be used in certain areas of the Atlas to reveal a cluster of Breach Stronghold mapslike Ailith, you use your very first Breachstone to reveal the area around the Guardian Monastery. When you do, you'll discover a cluster of 5-15 maps with the Breach Stronghold mechanic on Atlas.
As you explore the Atlas and uncover more of the map, you'll discover areas where you can use the Breachstone. Some areas require 1 Breachstone to open, while others require 2 or more. Breach Strongholds also have a minimum Waystone level required to access them. Forts on the edge of a cluster require at least level 6 Waystones, but a central Stronghold may only require a level 14+ Waystone to be accessed.
