Fortnite Battle Royale offers various free rewards for players to earn. From free skins like Explorer Emilie to additional gliders obtained through victory, simply playing through the various game modes can bring players exclusive items to acquire. But that's not all, like Fortnite has also partnered with Discord to allow players to get a Fortnite– themed reward for their Discord accounts.

Fortnite has previously partnered with Discord, allowing players to earn an avatar's victory crown decoration. This next collaboration follows a similar format, this time allowing players to wear the iconic Rift Butterfly on their profile. How to accept a Fortnite Discord Quest

The first step to getting the Rift Butterfly is accept Fortnite Quest in Discord. To do this, players will have to:

Open Discord and go to the Discover tab.
Search Fortnite Quest and select 'Accept Quest'.
Select the platform you want to complete the task on (options include Desktop and Console).

Quests can only be accepted on desktop and console. in addition players must have Discord installed on the device they use to play Fortnite before proceeding to the next step.

Before players proceed to the next step, make sure your online status is set to “online” if you're playing on console, as some users have reported that viewing offline can cause progress to not be tracked.

How to get the Rift Butterfly avatar decoration

Once the players accept Fortnite Quest, they will have to play Fortnite 15 minutes in total. No Fortnite mode will do, but players must make sure Discord is installed on the device they are using to track quest progress. Reload and Battle Royale are great options to pass the time, although players can also dive in LEGO Fortnite or Creative Maps to get 15 minutes of game time. For those who just want to relax and unwind, maintenance Fortnite open 15 minutes without playing will also fulfill the requirement.

After a total of 15 minutes have been played, the Rift Butterfly will be available for pickup. To do so, return to Fortnite Quest in Discord and select “Claim Reward”. Discord users will then be prompted use the avatar by selecting “Apply Now”.

Fortnite Quest can be received until December 6, 2024.
Once players have obtained the Rift Butterfly Avatar decoration, they can
use it for free for two months.
To permanently unlock it, players will need to purchase the Rift Butterfly Avatar decoration from the Discord Shop.
