Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver it has many locations and almost all of them have some challenging puzzles. Not all of these puzzles are mandatory, but completing them can bring players tempting rewards. Opening the map will show how many artifacts can be found in each. Some will focus on increasing health, while others will focus on increasing energy.
The wall will have numerous carved images on it, with the lower sections having parts pulled out of it. To make this puzzle similar to another puzzle they will also encounter the silenced cathedral — mural puzzle.
How to get an artifact in the Silenced Cathedral
This is an optional puzzle that players encounter after completing 2 puzzles, each of which breaks the glass surrounding some of the switches. They enter the room shortly after to find the Artifact surrounded by a glass enclosure. Players will be rewarded with this artifact after completing the puzzle ahead.
There will be a gate between this glass enclosure and the puzzle room, meaning the player will have to leave their corporeal form and go through it. On the other side, there will be some enemies that the player can eliminate and then absorb to replenish their stamina. Players will not be able to push any blocks while inhabiting the Spectral Realm, so head to the middle of the south wall and high jump to the ledge above. There will be a point here that players can use to return to the Material Plane.
Players should take a moment to look at the pictures before starting to rotate the blocks and place them in the available spaces on the wall. Trumpeters stand close together, while figures holding hands to heaven have long robes wrapped around their legs. This can help players know where to look when looking for where to push a block. These blocks will not always point in the right direction and will need to be flipped. Players can always get a block to line up the way they want by first turning it so the image is facing up and then standing on the opposite side of where they want the image to face. After flipping the block, the image will now face the side they need. If the picture is upside down, they can stand to the left or right of the picture and turn it by flipping the block.
Once all the blocks are pushed into place, the last 4 blocks will drop from the top. Repeat this process with these 4 final blocks and the glass cover with the artifact will open. Players will need to collect a total of 5 artifacts to complete the emblem, but this will increase your overall stamina.
