Demon Slayer is currently the biggest anime release of 2025 and also the most exciting anime series, mainly due to its latest movie, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 — Akaza's Return. This film is the first of a trilogy that aims to conclude Demon Slayer series. Fans know full well that Demon Slayer is slowly coming to an end with this movie, but that's why The Infinity Castle trilogy concludes the original Demon Slayer storyit doesn't mean the franchise as a whole will end.
Demon Slayer has a lot more in store for fans, from spin-off novels and manga for a short prologue with all the characters alive and living their best lives. Demon Slayer is just too profitable a franchise to just die in 2029.

And this aside, Demon Slayer also has several spin-off series which could eventually be adapted into movies or TV anime. Demon Slayer has many novelswhich features more details on the likes of Hashira and the Demons, and some even showcase great fights that fans would absolutely love.
Demon Slayer also has a hilarious spin-off series known as Kimetsu Gakuen!and fans would absolutely adore it. This side manga takes place in a school and could make a light anime series if adapted.
either way it's unlikely that the Demon Slayer will die out after its final film trilogy. The series is simply too profitable and has more potential, thanks to many more unexplored stories.

Unfortunately, it looks like there will be a long wait for the final film, even though the official dates have yet to be revealed to fans. It is very likely The last Demon Slayer movie will be released in 2029which means fans will have to hold on a four-year wait after the first film.
