Lego joined almost every main IP that would suit its own files with one glaring omission at this point – Pokemon. Although LEGO and Pokemon seem to be a perfect couple for their hobby for crossover, there are currently no Pokemon LEGO sets. However, it seems that the escape trailer has confirmed that it will all change.
Shared U/Clay_bricks on R/Legoleaks Subreddit, a short trailer shows up close of some bricks that combine to create what is undoubtedly the lego version of the tail of Pikachu. Once the tail of the LEGO is completed, it flows electricity to briefly reveal the LEGO and pokemon logos before the pikachu pulls away.
According to the Wario64, the trailer was shared LEGO Mexico, almost certainly in error when it did not appear on any other official LEGO website. This site also claimed that the first Pokemon sets would be released in 2026. Although LEGO does not tend to officially announce the upcoming projects a year in advance, it makes a special exception to a particularly large unveiling, and that would be one of the largest in its history.
As for the fact that the official crossover Lego X Pokemon was never the official crossover, he was tied in an agreement with Mattel. This agreement gave Mattel exclusive rights to create officially licensed sets of Brick Pokemon toys, and there is a lot of pokemon mega. Some quite impressive, including larger and more sophisticated sets that have handles that you can turn to make it look like Pokemon is moving.
As impressive as some of the mega pokemon offers were, they are simply not lego. It could be unfair, but LEGO is a leader in the field in terms of brick toys and Mega simply does not compare. The biggest client of Mega by far, one thing that LEGO really left was his contract with Pokemon. Now it seems that this Yeaser confirms that the agreement has ended, and if Pokemon is really about to cooperate with LEGO, it will not turn back.
LEGO X Pokemon crossover options are almost endless. Lego has more than 1,000 Pokémon to start. Not to mention human figures, places and various versions of many of these pokemon. We already know that at the end of this year our boy LEGO Game is coming. I don't know how, but if we get Lego Pokemon, something that combines them as part of the initial introduction of LEGO Pokemon, it would be a guaranteed intervention.
